    One of his best games for us. He’s a good option to have. Of course he’s a step down from Wright but you need a squad.

    Defensively we’re hugely improved. But they had more than one chance. Chaplin hit the post and sliced one out for a throw in. Plus they scored. I think it was more the formation as the game turned into a basketball match second half. Switch back to a back 4 on Saturday and we’ll look a lot more...

    The huge plus point tonight is his second finish. Really easy to mess that up with so much time. Sign of a good forward - which he is. The volley would have been cherry on the cake time. Swapped wings, plays loads of games, covers the whole front three. Very important player in this squad.

    Depends which scenario we are talking about. If we’re saying we want to “allow” the sort of chance Chaplin had that’s got to be absolutely wrong. There’s no point packing the 6 yard box when the guy is 8 yards out with a free shot at goal.

    Very solid. 7 for Torp and EMC 8 everyone else apart from BTA and Grimes 9. Saka very effective once on.

    Excellent win at a difficult place to go. I suspect we won’t play that formation against better sides. But we won and rested Wright and Sakamoto. Grimes and BTA superb.
