We will probably lose at Bristol and go and beat Saints on the promotion cheering day :D

    Tonight's games

The mid table teams are there for the taking. They have nothing to play for.

    Tonight's games

Not the worst results. Hull look beatable... (now watch us lose on sat ) It's in our hands. We need to beat Bristol, Donny and Millwall. 12 points should do it. So we need that away win

Goal difference: City -17; Bristol -29

It all helps. 2-0 result yesterday was solid.

8 games to go... the clock is ticking (thanks Joe)

Not sure what you mean? :D;)

    My run-in predictions ................

As long as Donny don't get 3 points at Palace on Tuesday that will be a result for us. It will be between us a Bristol. Even if we lose against Bristol it won't be the end of our season. We will get results else where I reckon.

    My run-in predictions ................

Likelihood is we will beat Saints for our first away win. That's how crazy this league is.

Posted 24 Mar 2012 19:58 re: Both teams played awful today Agree with all of the above. Last 15 minutes our boys didn't want to know. The whole 'Ricoh experience' reminded me of a pre-season friendly. Warm sunshine, t-shirts and shorts, lots of empty seats, no atmosphere (apart from in our...

From pompey board... a tad bitter? :D:D:D:D Both teams played awful today We were by far the better side at the Ricoh for the first half and we could've easily took the lead against a woeful Coventry. Alex Nimely deserves a mention for the most annoying opposition player i've seen in a while...

    Pompey fuming

Michael Appleton was left seething by his lacklustre men as they fell to defeat at Coventry today. Appleton believed his men lacked the same energy they performed with against Birmingham as they went down to a 2-0 loss at the Ricoh Arena. The Pompey manager was angered with his men’s...

Unfortunately regardless if we stay in the Championship... a rumoured Prem club is after Christie and Bigi in the summer.

Good value, 5 unbeaten, scored 4 in two games...

We have to continue this effort. It isn't over yet and i am sure there will be some further twists along the way. At least the players get a rest now until next weekend. Will give Platt some more time in the pool :pimp:

    Thorn

As much as i agree he has done well recently, the only issue I have (but i would rather debate this once the season is over)... but why has Thorn not given the players the same belief all season long? The flipside is why the players haven't given their all until the end really is near?
