    Favourite ever goal…

No, because they were onside when the ball was played to the goalkeeper.

Not the same as saying it's immoral. People have been saying it lacks sporting integrity and prevents clubs run in a more sustainable way achieving success, but not that it's 'immoral'. And yes, there is a very big difference.

Don't think anyone's suggesting Wrexham (or anyone else's) fans should stop watching their club, are they?

Yes. I don't think of clubs (except the likes of Milton Keynes) as plastic, just some of the supporters who jump on a bandwagon. No doubt we have a few of our own.

    Agreed.

That was last season's el Plastico. Wasn't it Birmingham wanting it, and Wrexham dismissing it? That's how I remember it, but I may be wrong. ETA: they can piss off, and no doubt 80% of their fans are Disney plastics, but the club itself is an old institution with a decent sized and loyal...

Fair enough; completely agree with the negative effect that they are having. Was thinking of something different with 'respecting the tradition'; I meant I don't think they're likely to want to demand games abroad, put a stop to relegation, or change the name or colours of the club, etc., etc...

@Brighton Sky Blue, just curious, what is it that you think about that that's laughable? We both completely agree that what they are doing is bad for the competitive nature of the game, but you can still do that whilst respecting how supporters support clubs, recognising a club's place in an...

Understand this is a joke, but one thing I do like about the Wrexham owners is that for foreign owners, they seem to genuinely respect the culture and tradition of the game here.

    Kai Andrews…

Using words here to describe feeling after scoring first professional goal. Obviously a fairly typical footballer interview, but if someone can really appear level-headed in a <2min interview, then he does so.

    Joel Latibeaudiere

Speedie was the best header of a ball I've seen.

Didn't Sunderland changing their manager also stop that?

    Transfer Rumour Kevin Denkey

We had Kevan Smith in the 80s, but I don't remember a thing about him other than his name.

    Transfer Rumour Kevin Denkey

"Kevin Santos Lopes de Macedo (born 4 January 2003), simply known as Kevin" Do you think he's been made aware of just how shit that sounds?

    Quality goal, tbf.

I don't think O'Hare is dislikable at all; he's a bit cheesy, but comes across as a pretty inoffensive character for the most part. He was an enjoyable player to watch when he was here, and he played a big part in getting us to where we are. Don't think he deserves the grief at all.

Is it me, or does the face on Millwall's lion look disturbingly human there?

Match Thread West Bromwich Albion - Coventry City Match Thread - Saturday 21st Feb

It's not telling you what's likely to happen in a game or a moment, it's telling you where a team is likely to end up over a longer period of time.

    Championship thread 25/26!

Tricky, isn't it. Birmingham's owners are genuinely odious in a way that Wrexham's aren't, but Wrexham just feels a bit more egregious. Plus there's the utterly nauseous fawning over them. Salford never got the same brown-nosing for buying their way out of non-League. Perhaps Gary Neville...

Did I say that? I might have done, tbf. I did feel like it a bit after the couple of results preceding it. Football fans are always reactionary, though some are worse than others.
