Why not make Twist and Shout (or Sisu Out) the official protest song?

You're quite correct Hill. Well, shake it up, baby, now, (shake it up, baby) Twist and shout. (twist and shout) Cmon cmon, cmon, cmon, baby, now, (come on baby) Come on and work it all out. (work it all out) Verse Well, work it on out. (work it on out) You know you look so good. (look so good)...

Why not make Twist and Shout (or Sisu Out) the official protest song?

Agree Ferret. I love Twist and Shout. For most of the older City fans though who are getting a bit long in the tooth, this could now be changed to 'pissed and stout.'

    Thank you Mum and Dad

I also worked with a bloke called Joseph King and my wife had a best friend called Jovanka, which was prounounced Yovanka. This of course made it worse, or better dependant on your point of view. Better for me, cos everytime I saw her I would say her name quite aggressively. My wife also had...

    Respect to Coventry Fans

Ahh, speak no evil, see no evil and hear no evil. You sound just like the typical Sky Blue fan! :D

    Respect to Coventry Fans

Yes indeed, Hibs. You can start off by boycotting Sixfields. You up for that?

Don't do that Macca! Let me do it for you.

Why not make Twist and Shout (or Sisu Out) the official protest song?

You going to change 'You know you’re a twisty little girl' to 'You're a twisted little girl?' That could be aimed at Tim Fisher or Joy Seppalla.

    Grendull's Poll.

Agree, Samo. You need both sides to an argument and a lot of the time Grendel is a good poster. Sometimes though I think he is just winding you all up and trying to provoke a reaction and many of you do bite.

    A quick question about sixfields

I am sad that people have decided to go, but at the end of the day it is their choice. Think it would be better and we would be totally united if no-one at all went to any 'home' games in Northampton. The biggest worry for me is that of the club having success and the stayaways relenting and...

The winning ticket would have to be Valiant as leader with RFC as his deputy.

    If this shistorm ends

If both sides stay entrenched in their positions on this then I can still see us still being at Northampton in 5 years time and that is a very worrying prospect indeed.

    The problem with SISU Out

It is not my perception, but I am sure some people will perceive that, rightly or wrongly, same as there is a perception from some that those attending Sixfields aren't as passionate about bringing the City home as those not going are. Getting people on the hill for maybe one or two games could...

    The problem with SISU Out

Fair point. Depending on the way things transpire, then yes of course, the new phoenix club could well be still seen as Coventry City.

    The problem with SISU Out

The notion for me that once CCFC are gone that's me finished, just doesn't compute. I am a Coventry kid and love my football team. If CCFC no longer existed and a phoenix club emerged in their place, they would automatically become my team. They would still be Coventry, just not Coventry City.

    The problem with SISU Out

Disagree with you RT. For me the answer is to have 1,500 City fans turn up at Northampton every home game and 10,000 turn up outside the Ricoh. That would clearly say the club belongs in Coventry. People turning up on the hill outside Sixfields for some could be simply be perceived that fans...

Looking at his Facebook page though I don't think it's him. Can't see any CCFC references on there at all.
