I'm still not even convinced you are a Cuventry Chitty supporter to be honest.

You've never heard of Eugene O'Neill? Deary me. To be quite honest I was beginning to wonder if this lad was at the same game as the rest of us. Now I know he saw someone called O'Neill playing, I am damn 100% certain he didn't go to the same game as the rest of us.

Cyrus Christie - I need to know.

You can't say that! Well not without telling them that's he's a really strapping, big strong lad, with incredible muscles, who puts fear into the opposition and who tackles like an all in wrestler and that he never ever gets knocked off the ball at all, ever.

Cyrus Christie - I need to know.

He was poor here and is good there probably because he has good players around him with you and crappy defenders around him with us.

    Why we are struggling....

Well, Well, that's what I am saying. It was a very, very average Preston side and we were just so poor they walked the game easily.

Puzzled by a few scores there. Fleck was 5 marks worse than O'Brien? And Clarke 3 marks worse than Webster and Hines? And possibly worst of all, Tudgay better than Jackson? :o

How can SP say this squad is better????

Can't blame Pressley though for losing our best players and trying to replace strikers who can bag 20 goals a season in League One is very difficult. Only hope we have is that freebies we bring in come good, or we bring talented youth players through the system.

    Forget Rugby

Not quite so sure. The way I see it is that I would continue to support the Redskins, but that the London UK NFL team would be my second team. Think that will be the same for most people. People won't change their allegiance and will stick with the teams they have got, but the new team would...

    Close the North Stand!

    * If we maybe win 12 in a row and for certain games when Wembley beckons.

    Forget Rugby

Am convinced and NFL franchise will be in the UK in the not too distant future. The Wembley games are a massive success and on Saturday they closed down Regent's St and made it an American Football zone and they reckon 500,000 people turned up. It's going to happen I'm sure.

    Forget Rugby

I just remember when it opened that my head was in the clouds and the Premier seemed on, so I asked the question if we could increase the capacity to 40,000. Do think if there were any NFL franchise here it would have to be London. Talk about puting Coventry on the map though. An NFL team here...

Thought it was said when the Ricoh was built that that was that and no larger capacity was possible. Pretty sure that was said because I remember asking the question myself as to whether it was expandable or not. Could tear the old one down and build a new one I suppose.

Of course not. The ground would have to have twice the capacity. Think NW was just making a point.

    Why we are struggling....

No, it doesn't, but when teams like Preston come out all guns blazing and keep you pegged back in your own half for over 25 mins, the crowd is going to be very quiet whatever. Unless they are booing of course.

How can SP say this squad is better????

As I said on the match day thread during the game, at one point I just started watching the subs running up and down the touchline. It was much more entertaining.

    Why we are struggling....

As I said on Saturday, I think that was a bit of a false dawn for Preston. They seem to getting carried away and purring to their hearts content at how good they were, but they will never have an easier gams than that all season long. We were powder puff, didn't change the system to counteract...

Where to eat at the Ricoh

If you are staying at the Ricoh there is Chiquito and Frankie and Benny's just across the road isn't there. Would guess any food at the Ricoh itself would be quite pricey. What you looking for, just reasonable, not too pricey food, or something a bit more upmarket?

Time will tell. Research shows 2.8m people in UK consider themselves "very interested" in the NFL 40,000 people (16yrs+) play in England once a month - double the number four years ago...
