Match Thread Coventry City - Middlesbrough Match Thread - Monday 16th Feb

Remember a similar thing at the Oxford away game last season when Simms missed the pen. While all the shenanigans around the penalty decision was going on Bidwell was holding the ball and I thought, "OMG, surely not?" Perhaps he should have tried as Simms' penalty was rubbish.

Match Thread Coventry City - Middlesbrough Match Thread - Monday 16th Feb

So to summarise: the season is definitely over although it definitely might not be. Markelo might or might not be on the bench and if he is he is probably useless anyway, or maybe he isn't. Chances are with our form we will either win, lose or draw, but most likely lose as Boro are, or maybe...

    WBA Away Tickets

Fair enough. I'd still prefer paper tickets but time marches on. I suppose it was handy at Stoke as I didn't check my pocket about a hundred times on the way to the ground making sure I hadn't lost them! My son takes the piss out of me for doing that.

Stoke were digital but cant remember when those arrived. Sheff Utd are digital too. Would rather have paper tickets.

    Championship thread 25/26!

Surprising considering they don't know for definite which league they will be in. Also suspect some fans will still be paying off their current season tickets.

Hoping Ipswich snatch it but not until the last minute of extra time. Another game for them. The, next week, a good win for Wrexham.

    'Neurodiversity'

I think we've all got a touch of something, to be honest, i know I probably have. In infants school (so 73/74 yime) I remember this kid who was a right fucking nightmare. Unruly, misbehaved, borderline violent to teachers. At the time we all thought of him as The Psycho, but nowadays he would...

    Favourite ever goal…

Ah yes. I don't think I've ever felt as ill/nervous at a football match. What didn't help was being on that massive terrace, so I had a sense of falling forward coupled with vertigo! Turned out well and will never forget that feeling of sheer relief what Gynn scored.

    Sheffield United Tickets

I always worry about ACLs at Bramall Lane. Last two times I've been there we've had injuries to O'Hare and then Dovin. I am more nervous about this game more than any of our others over the next few weeks.

    Favourite ever goal…

Seen many great goals over the years from the Houchen header to a good few Max overheads. I think my favourite ones are the goals that weren't spectacular but that really meant something.... I think my favourite ever period was the end of the 84/85 season when we looked doomed to relegation...
