    Match Thread Bristol City (H) - 6th November 3PM

Jumping ahead to the Blues game - Pederson and Colin out for 4 weeks, so should miss out, and Chong out for 5 months (a big miss for them) If they can get Roberts, Deeney and Hogan injured during the next 3 weeks, I'd take that!

    Match Thread Bristol City (H) - 6th November 3PM

Disagree 16th Oct 2-2 draw at Blackburn. Quality and energy to come back. Thought we played well in at least one half of each of the subsequent games. Fulham was only 1 month ago. We were never going to maintain top 2 form throughout the season, but I don't see the team 'collapsing' Conceding...

Don't disagree, but I'll bet you most games will last nearer 2 hrs than the 90 mins!!

On a side note, Matty James came off injured last night at Blues, having aggravated an existing foot injury that he picked up on Saturday v Barnsley. Apparently Bristol fell apart after he went off. Doubtful to face us. If he is fit, we know what to do !

    Swansea (H) - Tuesday 2nd - 19:45

Quite a few complimentary comments about the game and us on their forum: 'I enjoyed watching Coventry. Try to move the ball forward quickly and play the game the right way.' Although disappointed, not many teams play like Swansea do, and only Bournemouth worry me in terms of sides we are...

    Swansea (H) - Tuesday 2nd - 19:45

Haven't read any of the thread. Thoughts: Swansea played well - think a large decent pitch suited them. Their first goal was a defensive mistake, the second was offside (due to lino being out of position) They wasted time through a) snidey tactics, which the ref allowed and b) cleverly playing...

    O’Hare

Haven't read the thread, but there is an International break after Bristol = rest. O'Hare's work rate was immense again, but his composure was lacking, and that shot was ...frustrating. However not long ago we had Callum Reilly. I know who I'd rather have.

If we press them, it needs to be organised, otherwise we run the risk of them playing keep ball, which requires tremendous discipline from a defensive standpoint. Think I would go for an aggressive press, then use substitutes to ensure we have the legs to maintain it. A sending off for them...

    JSB Pre Game Question

Get there early as possible, as I know that at least one of those events they got cleared out of stuff / freebies quite quickly. that may have been a one off, but they are popular, and I wouldn't want you to be disappointed.

Truth be told, I was 31 and she was 19 when we met (a few years back now!) I wanted someone young enough to push me around in a chair when my knees packed up through playing too much footie!!

    Swansea and Bristol City Crowds

Swansea's on loan right back is a real danger going forward, so hopefully Maatsen doesn't get exposed by him (conversely Maatsen might be able to expose the space behind him). Won't be disappointed with a point tomorrow, although them having a poor following might give us a bit of an advantage...

Did you count the dots left to right, or right to left Pete; it can mess with the brain.

    Championship 21/22

Rotherham/Barnsley could swap divisions. That said, I think Barnsley will pick up a bit now that their centre back Anderson has returned from injury - him and Hielik were very good as a pair last season.
