Glad it's a minutes applause, and not silence. I get frustrated with those, when every background noise grates on me, like nails down a blackboard. Also with4,5k opposition fans -although 99% will be fine - the p*ssed up/coked up few often spoil it.
Be surprised if Millwall bring more than 1k. Add in the 5k gap at that end (6k less 1k attending) and your attendance is limited to 27k tops. Midweek game, mid winter, I'll be impressed if we hit 20k.
What I will say is that the quality has improved over the years. I watched a game at the 2012 Olympics - Sweden v Japan, and I would say the standard now is generally a level up from then.
Newcastle tonight, and a number of PL games tomorrow kicking off at 7.30. This used to be a regular ko time a few years back, but I'm pretty sure that 7.45 has become the 'usual' ko time (I know some are at 8pm) Anybody know the reason for the change?
Yep - Willock and Chair are very good players - and Dickie holds the defence together. They''ll be even stronger when Sam McC comes back. Think they will be top 6 like you say, unless they suffer a few injuries to key players.
They looked really sharp going forward - although Derby encouraged them by having no threat going forward. Do think that Derby right back Ebosele (haven't checked spelling) looks a good player.
