    Cathedral Lane Restaurant Quarter

Used to be a restaurant at the back of Cathedral Lanes, facing out towards the old cathedral. Can't for the life of me remember what it was called, but it was very nice in there. I think restaurants and bars is a great idea. Wilko can move to the new Bishopgate project.

    What we lack

What we need, as you say Nick, is a combatative, ball winning, midfield general. Just how many times do we tackle and win the ball back in the centre of the park? The truth is, we lack any strength in the midfield at all. This is one thing we can very much criticise Pressley for. It appears...

    Positives

Let's face it. Had we played well for the first 15 mins and then played poorly for the following 75, no-one would be saying there were any positives at all yesterday. Let's not be fooled because the reverse happened and that we played well for the last 15 and were crap the rest.

    Second half we played well

Battered for 89 mins. City reduced to just 2 shots on goal, both of which go in. Open top bus parade on Wednesday. Pressley knighted.

    Second half we played well

We played well for about 20 mins. No way did we play well for the entire second half.

In his pocket. It's where hge always keeps them.

    Will we be relegated?

It's the spine. We have the centre back on Reda, but no real cover for him, are lacking the central midfielder that makes everything tick and seemingly, only have Nouble up front. We have no goalkeeper of any note. It's a big worry. We desperately need a keeper and we need a combatitive...

I bet some of the 4.5K who brought Season Tickets are now regreting it

No, don't regret it. Apart from Sixifields I have pretty much always had a season ticket. I regret going up to certain matches at the end of the game (such as Preston), but don't regret having a season ticket at all. Will just keep turning up and hope our fortunes turn in our favour soon.

Next to me at the game was

Definitely sounds like a conspiracy. The difference between Ranson and Ransom is an 'M.' We all know that M is the head of MI6 in the James Bond films. Bet you there is some evil Mr. X at the back fo the main stand stroking his cat and plotting our downfall by releasing a nerve gas into the...

    player ratings vs bristol city

Nope. You can't have a one man back four. Think even if he performs heroics it's not going to be enough to save us. Webster looks too slow for me. I think Willis and Reda should be our two centre backs, but if it has to be a three, I would go for Hines alongside those two.

Yep, agree with most of that. Would give Barton a 5 though, just for his 2nd half performance. 1st half he just strolled around playing 5 yard passes as if he was in a training session and offered absolutely nothing. 2nd half he at least tried to get the ball going forwards. This was by far...

Correction. Coulibaly was excellent for the first 6 minutes. Started off really brightly and then they just closed him down and he disappeared from the game completely.

    Positives

He doesn't look out of his depth, but he does look a little too slight. I have been saying for 3 years now, what you need in this division is power and pace. Watching that today it really was men against boys at times. Very few positives for me, other than the quality of kids we are...

That chance of Haynes was our first real chance of the game. That was the 66th minute I believe.

Moment? We actually did it twice. Twice allowed short corners without any intervention. School boy stuff and absolute basic requirement.

I love our new tactic though. Allowing the opposition to take unchallenged short corners is pure genius.

Anyone already laughing about Pressley 's post match comments to come? How well do you think we played in his head?

Maybe if we plant land mines in the penalty area and put up barbed wire and lay treacle down the flanks. That might just give us a small chance.

Pugh-dreadful. Jackson-working hard. McQuoid - McVoid. Coulibaly - 6 minute wonder. Barton - pointless. Defence - all over the place. Huff and puff- 100%. Attacking threat -0%
