Anyone else fed up, what's your story?

New starter, junior so needs a lot of help so I’m back in the office full time, just me and him. Worst of all worlds, hour commute total, can’t shit on my own toilet, and still no office atmosphere. House purchase is taking forever so I’m stuck at my parents worried about bringing the disease...

The “there’s a good player in there” sets off a few alarm bells. Like I say, hopefullly he just didn’t settle and his goal last weekend was the start of his form.

Style of player mostly. Doesn’t seem to be the target man we needed and seemingly has been tried and failed at this level already. At least with Gnanduillet (sp?) there’s a chance he can step up. And last season he did better than any of our strikers in L1.

Nick mate. Is there not some Captcha system we can install to stop these bots? What’s even the point of the ones that just copy and paste random text?

    Rangers interested in Hamer

Sort of agree. But what’s stopping is being competitive isn’t the size of our war chest, it’s the wage bill. There’s upper Championship quality players for free all the time, it’s whether we’re willing to pay upper Championship wages and that won’t change whether we keep or sell Hamer.

Except we’ll have to drop another body To get him into the squad. Hoping it was just a bad loan, it seems he went there late, and got the rona, so could be.

It’s not a generational divide, it’s an educational one masquerading as a generational issue one thanks to the expansion of education. And the degree educated middle classes aren’t spread around the country in the right way to win votes. You need the shires or the post industrial towns too...

Best TV shows or movies you can recommend

Just started After Life after being brainwashed by Ricky Gervais' Twitter feed. Just finished Season 1 and it's absolutely brilliant. Can't remember a show I've laughed and cried so much in quick succession.

That study is the one my missus is part of. She got Covid around April time and had her antibodies tested in November and they were still pretty high. AFAIK it's not that 'immunity only lasts five months' it's that the trial has only been going for five months so they can't say any more at...

Derby unable to pay players wages

Cheating off the pitch is the same as cheating on it. It’s not like they’re handed out at random. Maybe I’m bitter that we’ve got one of the smallest budgets, but I won’t cry many tears for teams that overspend then run out of road. We were one and have paid (and are still paying) a heavy price.

Brexit was a proxy though. A general kick back against “all this” and Corbyn was as much “all this” as any Labour politician. We’ve been losing those voters since Blair, but if you look at the data (Paula Surridge does some great stuff on Twitter), you can see Corbyn, especially since the Russia...
