I did, thanks, Daz. I did really enjoy it. Only the Sophie thing was a bit naff. Would have been much better if it had just been Reece Sheersmith I reckon, but otherwise it had just the right balance of comedy and darkness. Cheers for the recommendation. :)

Allowing the opposition to walk the ball in to redress the balance

I would in many a circumstance, but not in this. If the player had taken a deliberate pot shot at goal then as a manager and team I would be expecting them to tick the player off and redress the balance, but not in this one. I don't think the keeper deliberately let the ball in, but at the...

Bit like I said on another thread, if we want to be play-off material, we really need to be looking to beat the likes of Millwall, Bradford and Sheff Utd.

    TM frustrations yesterday

Managers are always frustrated and always getting annoyed with players not quite doing what they are told. Watch pretty much any game on Sky.

Allowing the opposition to walk the ball in to redress the balance

Don't think it was deliberate, but I don't see the keeper letting the ball into the net either. Don't see how anyone can argue that isn't a legitimate goal. I wouldn't be expecting City to 'let' the opposition score at the other end to even things out of that was us.

Might well help. When we have big City crowds we are all too often nervy and fluff our lines. Having a big away following may well stir the City fans into action and the players won't have as much pressure on them as they would with a big home following.

I still think you have a reasonable chance of automatic promotion, but think you may not catch Burton. They have been wobbling, but are still top and 9 points clear of 3rd place. That's some to catch up. Burton's next 4 games. Sat 19 Mar 2016 - League One Port Vale v Burton 15:00...

    Play-offs

We have: Swindon Colchester Millwall Bradford Sheff Utd. Some tough games there, but if we have any aspirations we need to be looking to beat the likes of Bradford and Millwall anyway.

    Play-offs

Yep. I think we need to win, but also win well, rather than scrape a result. A win combined with a good performance would do wonders to team spirit and belief.

TM himself though has said we need 6 wins. Basing this on that and as I say, it's only a guide. :)

Allowing the opposition to walk the ball in to redress the balance

Well that's what the team who scored are arguing, that he deliberatly let the ball in the net. Why would he do that? Manager Danny Cowley called this goal “the worst thing he had seen on a football field”. The controversial goal meant his Braintree team were pegged back to draw 1-1 at...

    Play-offs

After 36 games Bournemouth were 7th on 58 points. That means they got 25 points from their last 10 games. That's 8 wins and a draw.

Allowing the opposition to walk the ball in to redress the balance

Football League: Four things you may have missed, plus some non-league drama - http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/35678750 The story here is that play stopped for an injury to an opposition player and play was stopped. When play restarted the other team's player went to kick the ball back to...

If we are dominated by Swindon I think that will prove we are just a mediocre midtable side. Been happening far too often lately. If we can win and put in a strong performance to boot, then just maybe we are heading back in the right direction once more.

Exactly. What we need to do is keep on winning. Win 3 or 4 in a row and maybe we will be back in with a good shout, but if we win one, lose one we are going absolutely nowhere. Next week we have to build on this and it will give us an insight perhaps to just how good we now are.

I think you mean regain rather than retain.:) I think Barnsley will get something at Fleetwood and I wouldn't be surprised if Bradford got something at Wigan. I think we will still be outside the top 6 cone Saturday.
