    This beating will be harmful

To be fair Glen, I don't think it'll be that damaging. I doubt the players expected to win tonight against such strong opposition and although would've enjoyed playing in such surroundings against some international stars, I doubt they'll dwell on it that much. A 6-0 defeat at the weekend on...

    Arsenals scouting report on Coventry

Reading Michael Coxs thoughts, actually makes us sound like a good side!!!

For all the SISU/Fisher/Waggott apologists on here.....

To be fair, it was only estimating. I don't know what he was on at CCFC and I don't know what he's on at NUFC but you're right, it'll be a hell of a lot more than here! WM

    Change

I totally see your point as I've always been one for giving people a chance. I know people say AT had a chance last season but the irony is that he's the only manager to get us any points this season. I think I would've maybe given AT 2 or 3 more league games to see if he would've done anything...

For all the SISU/Fisher/Waggott apologists on here.....

FFS! Fans whinge (and I mean whinge) for years that we don't own a penny of our stadium and then when we seem to have cobbled together some pennies to own a stake on it, the owners are still castigated! This isn't a SISU supporting post, but damned if you do, damned if you don't. We're...

    How many more players like...

http://www.thepfa.com/transferlist/listedplayers/sortbydate/-1/-1/1/ Not the best list in the world. Vassell would be good at this level but doubt we could afford his probable wage demands. Oh, there's this defender bloke, Gary Borrowdale..........

Maybe one of them farted really loudly?

CET: Mark Robins will face city crisis after unable to agree terms with Paul Ince

You're right, he was indeed. I'm getting my wires crossed with someone else. Maybe Tim Breaker from Luton? And to be fair, Breaker was a FB and hardly scored! Maybe it was because they both had blonde-ish hair. Oh, I don't know. I've gotten confused somewhere along the line. Time to shut up...

CET: Mark Robins will face city crisis after unable to agree terms with Paul Ince

I don't really know much about Robins either...as a manager anyway. I remember having season highlight videos from something like the 88-89 and 89-90 seasons on VHS, showing highlights of all our games. If I remember rightly, Robins did well at Luton as a striker over that period before he...

    Apparently according to the radio

I don't understand the hatred towards Waggott and Fisher? Yes, they're employed by SISU, but they aren't actually SISU (if that makes sense). From what I've seen, particularly from Fisher, there is more of an attempt to be more open with the fans. We've cried out for more transparency from...

Rumour is it is out of two, but who ?

Apologies...didn't see it. I can't deny his goalscoring record for us. Fantastic...what we would do for someone with his goalscoring abilities right now. Just left a sour taste for me.

Rumour is it is out of two, but who ?

Am I the only one who wouldn't want Dublin here based on the fact that he refused to play for his to force through a move to our biggest local rivals (at the time...whether it was reciprocated was neither here nor there)??? WM

    Staunton fav for job

Would still love to see someone like Di Canio. Unlikely I know, but we ARE a decent club (albeit terminally ill at the moment....)

    Get Baker off set pieces....

This isn't other games though...this is Stevenage and he's been poor at delivering today (bar one cross from open play). As for who to take them....Kilbane? Barton? Hussey?

    Get Baker off set pieces....

Out of 4 set pieces I can remember, he's hit the front man 3 times. We need to give ourselves a chance with set pieces and if we're not going to beat the first man with delivery, we might as well give our set pieces straight to Stevenage.

As we play Sunday; we could be in the relegation zone Sat night

And one win tomorrow and we could potentially be just two points of the play offs......;)

Flashback to pre- SBT views on Sisu/RR/Coleman

I don't think we are divided at all. Are SISU good for our club? No. Do we have any alternatives? No. Are they still paying the wages of the staff, the (majority) of the bills etc etc. Yes. For that reason, we have to live with them until something else turns up. That's all.

Flashback to pre- SBT views on Sisu/RR/Coleman

The one thing that that thread has taught me more than anything else, is that I had too much time on my hands! I was working at St Marys at the time and knew what a shit time Saints were going through and then saw the joy once Liebherr took over. As TH says, hindsight is a wonderful thing...
