Its not uncommon these days is it for players to train with former clubs? If he lives locally and he doesn't have an attitude problem or cause disruption then I don't really see it being a problem.

If he signed for another season wasn't the plan to not have him train as much? Could be connected, could be he's not coming back or could be he's decided to stay at home until a decision is made one way or the other.

The impression I got was that it was less to do with the practical side of moving them and more to do with needing permission from ACL as its not our ground.

That is always the danger. Think they said they need to average around 10K attendance so if the lower price doesn't increase the crowds we will be looking at a cut to the player budget I would imagine.
