Fully agreed with you, the thing is though, on a Saturday, people go there to escape real life. Personally, when I haven't been to a game for a while, I get withdrawal symptoms lol, and when I've been at a game on a Saturday and seen a good performance, it makes my week go better. I don't know...

Trust me, this is not the case. I know loads of Southampton fans, and they abandoned their team in league 1, then re-joined in promotion to the championship
