Who are you counting as strikers? Ponti should go on loan. 2 new strikers plus JCH and Biamou = 4 (I'm definitely not counting Beavon) Keepers, wasn't O'Brien supposed to be off? Granted the new keeper may be wishful thinking as I'm not a big Burge fan.

I know watching clips of players is dangerous as they make everyone look like Ronaldo but to me some of the goals Chaplin scored were above and beyond anything McNulty was capable of. I think if we get him for less than half what we got for McNulty we've pulled off a brilliant bit of business.

Yes you're right this is what i was referring to, the pub football fan seems more into England. As for the people that actually travel abroad to watch England i'm sure they are also very into their club sides.

I may be generalising but in my experience people that are more into the national team than their club are the ones that aren't really that into their club, Liverpool fans in Cov, Man Utd fans in Norwich etc...
