I think that he was already at top speed at the start while the defender was on the turn and therefore had to accelerate makes it look even better, but yeah, he does look pretty quick
I also like a keeper to dominate the 6 yd box BUT I'd also as a defender prefer to know the keeper is staying put than sometimes coming/sometimes not. At least you can be sure what you need to do rather than in two minds.
That was a rather pointilist journey for him wasn't it. Won't have got an impressionism of him at all. Maybe he'll pop art back for another game. All seems a bit surrealist to me.
Only annoyance would be game would be after transfer deadline. Though draw is a couple of days before it so would a good draw mean MR would be allowed to 'press the button' on a target with a likely windfall? Or turn down a late bid for someone?
Nice comfortable performance. MR has decisions to make as those that were brought in made a case for themselves.
Hopefully a nice little earner in the next round.
But not in a game he's not playing in, which he wouldn't be if he'd be kept on the bench in favour of say Drysdale.
Unless of course he'd tripped over the edge of the dugout going back to the changing room.
Not sure why we'd be bringing Shipley on.
Nice to see Fadz get a rest so guess we're going back four. Or is Pask going into the middle and someone else going RWB.
He did seem very quick to spot the play and push up to intercept and run into the midfield looking for a pass. Was only U23 mind but showed great awareness.
Nice to see the lead allowing us to rest players like Walsh. Would be nice to allow Kelly a bit of time off. Maybe one of the CB's will get an early night for Drysdale?
Are they just working through the senses?
