    Frank Nouble & Simeon Jackson

Am guessing that Pressely chose Nouble for the very point of him and Jackson being the front two. Tudgay was worryingly poor on Friday. He looked unfit, slow, didn't chase anything down or put in any challenges and seemed rather disinterested. Early days as has been said, but Nouble and...

    Exeter JPT

Yep. But wasn't it only a fiver against Burton? How few of us were there, there that day?

No he didn't. He said he was like a haystack.

I was quite impressed. Actually thought all the Gillingham team really put in a decenthigh octane effort to be honest. They chased and harried and closed down all day. Couple of their players I thought played really well.

The lad has good pace on him and seemingly the best crossing ability at the club by a country mile.

    What formation would you play?

Haven't seen Pugh yet. Haynes fits the role better than Clarke I would say. What about Phillps? Not seen him in that role yet either.

I do think Pugh will be the number one for the left back slot, yes, but I think Haynes will get a good share of game play.

    What formation would you play?

All depends on the personal for me. At the moment I'm not quite see we have the right personal for wing backs.

Cyrus Christie was very naive defensively too. I think Haynes will play quite a part myself. He carries on like this and he will get regular starts I'm sure.

Not many, but that's not the point. The argument is that he is raw and therefore not ready and this would then stop a big club coming in for him.. That will not put a big club off if they are looking at an investment for the future. Bigi was very raw. Doesn't happen often, but it does happen and...

Yes they do. Doesn't stop big clubs still swooping down and snapping these players up does it. Might well be a disaster for the player, but in no way does that ever seem to bother these big clubs who just dump them off in the reserves or their own youth teams believing they are investing in the...

    Nouble Thoughts ?

He's saying he'll only stay if we are play off contenders? I guess that's just how football is these days. :-(

    Nouble Thoughts ?

He took his goal well, but has a poor first touch and is seemingly not very good at holding the ball up. Wasn't particularly impressed, but let's see how he does over a number of games.

A few myths laid to bed last night.

Last night showed again that the notion of building a new stadium is a complete and utter nonsense.

    empty fookin seats !!!!

Bloke next to me just seemed to want to keep taking selfies and disappearing to the mall. Must have been 4 times during the game. And there must have been at least 1,000 all go down to the food and beer outlets on about 35 mins. WTF is that all about? Was it the end of Ramadan or something?

Gillingham Match Thread - The Ricoh Return

Only criticism I could label at O'Brien is that he's not the most physical player going is he. Got knocked off the ball on 2 or 3 occasions tonight. When he's playing a combatative midfielder like tonight he needs to learn to move the ball on a bit quicker. He's got a great engine though hasn't...
