To be fair, it's the sort of thing any player would say in his position. A bit like, 'When I saw Fleetwood were interested in me, it was an easy decision to make, due to the set up, the manager etc etc' I suspect most of the loanees will have spouted similar about their 'new' clubs.

Flaws in his game, yes. Lightweight ? He gets 20 bells kicked out of him every game, gets up for more, and yet rarely misses a game through injury. That's the opposite of lightweight in my opinion.

Agree mate; can't think of a similar player, and we all love him here, but I thought the world had ended when Ian Wallace left 🤪. We invest in our heroes, but there is always another just round the corner.

Even without C O'H (let's imagine he was injured for a second); we would have Sheaf, Eccles, Kelly, Palmer, Allen, Hamer and Howley available. It's an area we have some depth in.

If it was as nearly a done deal as suggested, I'm more than a bit surprised he was involved against Wolves U23s yesterday. Why would the club risk a player on the verge of a big money move. Would seem odd to me.
