    Nouble

No, some players played really poorly. I'm simply saying that to my mind Nouble offered nothing at all. It wasn't that he was bad as such, but more like he wasn't even there on the field of play.

    Nouble

I like(d) him, but he was shocking on Saturday and offered absolutely nothing.

    This squad.....

And the gems still keep on coming.

i wouldn't feel half as bad if the capitulation hadn't have been so great in that second half and we hadn't made all those dreadful defensive errors to throw the game away. Thing that worries me the most is, that though I have faith in TM, our defence is truly, truly shocking.

It's also interesting to note that 'phildownunder,' for obvious reasons, wasn't actually at the Donny game. Had he been so, his optimism may well have not be running so high.

On the back of 2 back to back wins and coming up against a Donny side who had lost their last 2 games and not won in 4, we simply cannot accept that debacle of a second half performance and capitulation that occurred on Saturday. It's not a mood swing over an individual result, it is a worry of...

    will TM stay next season?

Is there an announcement on our league position coming up in the new year?

How many were left in the ground at full time ?

The very second the third goal went in I upped and offed. Couldn't stomach anymore and I did just get home in tome for the Twickenham kick off.

    All this Doom and Gloom

If only it worked like that. We would indeed have taken 7 points from 4 games, but the performance on Saturday and the capitulation has to be a massive, massive worry. Fine looking at the last 4 games, but surely the key one is the one you next have coming up and the one you just had re in...

    Too many games...

You can't, but unfortunately, Oggy has come out and said he really rates the lad. Worries me immensely that Burge seems to struggle with the very basics of positional play.

    Barton

People are talking about Barton though today because it was he who was taken off. Think pretty much everyone agrees that Fleck was poor as well.
  13. Otis

    Barton

Track back? Occasionally he does, yes. Donny's great one chance in the first half was down to him.

    Barton

Me too. Had it been Fleck or Barton or Samuel I wouldn't have been as concerned, but as party of JOB's games is all about harrying and chasing down opposition players and nipping at their ankles, I thought it would be very wise to remove him from the fray.

    Too many games...

Where's it got us though these past 15 years?

Three "6 Pointers" In A Row Coming Up

That's not strictly true. They are now just 4 points off the play-off positions and are right back in the mix for a top 6 place.

    Too many games...

JOB has said "we are playing too many games where we lose and it is taking it's toll on a lot of players.". There we go. Have amended that for him.

    Barton

As I and others have said on other threads, on the ball he played quite well, but off it he was shocking. I was convinced he was taken off for tactical reasons, because he was nothing short of a liability when he didn't have the ball, but TM says he had a knock, so we will go with that I think...

    I worry...

He's a good manager. I just think the problem is, as he said himself, he had been out of the game for some time and knew nothing about League One and had to ask other manager's and players etc. all about the league and its strengths. It's all still a bit of a learning curve for him. If he stays...

    Defensive errors

Yep, Willis was definitely culpable for the first. He lost possession and set up their attack for them. Defence was a shambles in that second half. Luckily we have Andy Webster to come back in and steady the ship on Saturday.
