How can it be run of the mill when Negan selects someone and kills them at the end? By saying it is run of the mill it is almost saying no-one dies.

Yep, agree. Not going to dismiss him yet of course, but he does look completely lost when he steps up and only seems to show energy and runs about a lot. Definitely think we should give him game time before the season is out. Let's see him from the off and see what he's capable of.
