    Forget Rugby

Am convinced and NFL franchise will be in the UK in the not too distant future. The Wembley games are a massive success and on Saturday they closed down Regent's St and made it an American Football zone and they reckon 500,000 people turned up. It's going to happen I'm sure.

    Forget Rugby

I just remember when it opened that my head was in the clouds and the Premier seemed on, so I asked the question if we could increase the capacity to 40,000. Do think if there were any NFL franchise here it would have to be London. Talk about puting Coventry on the map though. An NFL team here...

Thought it was said when the Ricoh was built that that was that and no larger capacity was possible. Pretty sure that was said because I remember asking the question myself as to whether it was expandable or not. Could tear the old one down and build a new one I suppose.

Of course not. The ground would have to have twice the capacity. Think NW was just making a point.

    Why we are struggling....

No, it doesn't, but when teams like Preston come out all guns blazing and keep you pegged back in your own half for over 25 mins, the crowd is going to be very quiet whatever. Unless they are booing of course.

How can SP say this squad is better????

As I said on the match day thread during the game, at one point I just started watching the subs running up and down the touchline. It was much more entertaining.

    Why we are struggling....

As I said on Saturday, I think that was a bit of a false dawn for Preston. They seem to getting carried away and purring to their hearts content at how good they were, but they will never have an easier gams than that all season long. We were powder puff, didn't change the system to counteract...

Where to eat at the Ricoh

If you are staying at the Ricoh there is Chiquito and Frankie and Benny's just across the road isn't there. Would guess any food at the Ricoh itself would be quite pricey. What you looking for, just reasonable, not too pricey food, or something a bit more upmarket?

    Forget Rugby

Time will tell. Research shows 2.8m people in UK consider themselves "very interested" in the NFL 40,000 people (16yrs+) play in England once a month - double the number four years ago...

    Why we are struggling....

Well if SP plays the same system next Saturday you can well expect Crawley to have a plan to combat it too. At the moment the plan seems to be close down Ryan Haynes and nullify his quality balls from the left and try and pressurise us into having to play it long.

How can SP say this squad is better????

Well, maybe so, but there's an awful lot of City fans out there declaring this one of the worst ever performances in living memory. I think you at least have to allow for a little doom and gloom. It was truly, truly shocking that effort on Saturday.

    Alcohol and Football

Nope, we neither. Never have, don't think I ever will.

Pretty certain playing for the Sky Blues can turn you to drink.

    Close the North Stand!

I can only apologise for my mum. She's 85 now and not completely in control of all her faculties. I will have a word though about the singing and chanting and jumping up and down, whilst swearing and stinking of stale beer. Count yourself lucky you haven't caught her yet on a bad day.

I'd like to see you try and say that one of the player's faces.

    Why our crowds are awful

Well, I know that, but if had had much larger crowds then the argument probably wouldn't have arisen in the first place.

Oh yeah, forgot about them. Yes, went to a couple of Monarchs games too. :-)

I booked to go to a game in the US a few years back, but the travel firm went bust, so I lost all my money. Been 2 two Wembley games though and they were great.

    Steven pressley

I do think the fact that we have had so many many managers over such a short period of time and that they have all pretty much failed, has left us all a bit apathetic these days. I know it's not a great argument, but the main one I can come up with is that a manager should be given time, unless...
