He is useless when he gets over the half way line and worst of all, going forwards is when he usually loses possession and he puts us in danger at the back.

No, that's fine Torch. As you say, a matter of opinion. He's certainly not suited to a right back position. He's okay defensively, but his distribution is woeful and his crossing not up to scratch, so when he supports the forwards he pretty much offers nothing. I like him in the central...

Some of our fans dont have a clue

Wouldn't say Stokes was brilliant. He was excellent going forwards, but got skinned a couple of times down his flank in defence. Much better going forwards yesterday than he was in defending.

Well he is at right back. He's not a right back though and that's the problem. He doesn't have the right attributes for a right back. He is best deployed in the centre of defence.

Yes it was. It was a lovely lobbed ball over the top. Wish the bugger would do it more often!

Don't know if anyone else has noticed or not, but Barton tends to step on the ball an awful lot. Lost count of how many times it happens. Like you say though, he is not consistent enough and he also disappears from games, is not strong on the ball, is not quick enough, gets caught in...

So, looking like Blackpool, Millwall and Wigan coming down to League 1

Yep, would agree with the discard list there. I notice Webster has gone well down the pecking order since TM took over. That I see as a real plus point.

Might make a difference that for sure.

    Samuels, Ward and Pennington

Maybe Pennington, but little chance with the other 2 I would have thought.

I do think if the club can back TM, we are in with a good chance of challenging next season and what a pleasant change that would be.

So, looking like Blackpool, Millwall and Wigan coming down to League 1

Is there anything for us to fear from any of those teams in terms of fighting for promotion places for next season? In other years I have seen which teams are coming down and thought that one or 2 could well be strong challengers for the following season, but I am not convinced that is the case...

That is my one concern from yesterday. Colchester were very, very poor. I do think that made us look like we played better, especially at the back, but for the most part we weren't really tested for most of the game at all.

Yep. I do fancy us against Crewe mind. They ship goals like there is no tomorrow and by all accounts were lucky to get away with a draw yesterday.

Yep. You would have thought that the win yesterday would have pulled us clear. Unfortunately though, all the bottom teams were playing each other, so points were being picked up elsewhere. Think Tuesday is still very important. We don't want to lose that one with Bristol City away coming up...

    Barton in contrast to Maddison....

Yep. I don't think there is room for Barton AND Fleck in the same team either and if it comes down to a straight choice, I think we have to go with Fleck. As you say, Barton has it in his locker, but hardly ever produces a very good performance. On the ball yesterday he did some good stuff, but...

It's off the ball that irks me the most with Barton. Sometimes he simply refuses to move into any space and just stands there wanting the ball directly to his feet in the spot he is standing. When that happens though invariably, he just passes the ball back to where it came from.

Just watched the highlights in order to confirm my thoughts and dispel your strange comment there, Oakey. JOB's goal was placed beautifully and was anything but scuffed.

    Reda Johnson

I think we look elsewhere. If we can't find anyone to replace him, then maybe we can keep him for another year, but do any of us actually believe he will stay injury free next season?

    Election 2015

Yep. Sounds like desperation and trying to better each other. Where were these policies previously?

Problem with have got of course, is a total lack of central midfielders in the squad.
