    Oldham Match Thread

With SP in charge I would agree with you, but Oldham are exactly the right type of club to be playing right now and of course TM is at the helm, not Presley, so I see no reason why we can't win two on the bounce.

Who would you retain in this current squad?

Yep. How many one more season's can we give a player?

2 wins in a row will have us going into the Bristol game on Saturday with a lot more confidence, but a draw will be fine tonight. Anything but a defeat and we will be edging closer to safety.

    Oldham Match Thread

i think there may be just one place to fight for in the relegation stakes. As someone said on the radio on Saturday, Crewe look very likely for the drop. They pulled clear and now suddenly find themselves back in the bottom 4. The bloke in the interview said that, that can be a big...

A draw will put us one point closer to safety I would say. A draw tonight would be okay and then as long as we don't lose at home to Crewe I think we will be totally fine. Be interesting to see how other games pan out tonight. Colchester have a very, very tough game away at 6th place...

I expect a win and I am very confident we will win. That's 2 home games in a row now where we have dominated. I envisage more of the same tonight. Oldham have nowt to play for and though I think they will be up for it, if we score first I would expect them to be casting their eyes a little on...

You know like I do, Torch, that maybe gates will rise a little if we are doing well, but will totally skyrocket for the bandwagon Chelsea/Wembley chance games.

    Tesco Parking

When I come out the ground there is no security to be seen anywhere and as I say, I have parked there every single home game this season and I have never seen anyone checking and have never ever received anything through the post telling me I have been fined. I would say it is completely safe...

Not so sure, Torch. Trying to be optimistic here, but if TM stays and he does get some backing and he brings in some exciting players and we start playing good football, score freely, we will be right in the mix at the top end of the table. That will surely put at least another 200 on the...

    Council Street Parking Restrictions

How does that work in practice? 'When there are expected to be more than 10,00.' We all guess attendances on here and hardly anyone ever gets it right. I know they have more idea, but surely no-one can estimate walk-up. If they think it is going to be under 10,000 and then suddenly on match...

    Election 2015

Err, no offence, Ash, but that is the Daily Express. I am as likely to believe them as I am to believe Tim Fisher.

I have used the Tesco car park for every game this season and have never had any trouble at all.

What do you do when the opposition score against us?

Have to say, when SP was in charge I was always expecting it, so wasn't even saddened or the least bit surprised.

Would you start Maddison on Tuesday, or keep him on the bench?

Yes, you're right. It's definitely 7.:facepalm: The education system these days is shit.

    Al Bangura

I think we just signed him because he had a funny name.

What do you do when the opposition score against us?

I have. Don't think we have seen that many great goals against here at the Ricoh though, for quite some time. The opposition don't usually have to score great goals against us, cos we usually give them a great big helping hand in our getting the ball into our own net.

What do you do when the opposition score against us?

I also sometimes look towards our bench to see what reaction is forthcoming from our manager. It's just those 2 things that make me look away, rather than look at our defence, that of the goalscorer celebrating and cupping his ear etc. and him really rubbing it in and that of the away fans...
