The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

You can see the “wrongs” peak in Dec when the EU started falling behind, and the “rights” really pick up in Jan when it was clear how much better we were. As I say, mental because we started inside the EU and could’ve done it all anyway, but that’s politics for you. All about the narrative.

It’s a compliment! Love a bit of wonkery. https://dictionary.cambridge.org/dictionary/english/wonk That description is a bit pejorative. I mean getting into the details of policy.

I think that’s fair, I worry with mine that they don’t have enough boredom. For us everything was more interesting, TV, sport, toys. Kids have an abundance of entertainment these days and no tolerance for boredom.

Love it when @Sky_Blue_Dreamer gets wonky :D I’d like 14-19 slightly more specialised, then a budget given to people for 18+ that can be training, Uni, or start up support and can be taken at any point before say 50 (or hell before they retire). So many people would be better off working for a...

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Yeah but that immigrant guy wants your biscuits It’s no coincidence that we got advancements as a class when everyone worked closely together in massive fucking groups and could see we were on the same team. Fuck knows how you engender that in the 21st century economy. Other than a world war...

I don’t think that about Sheaf. Technically he’s good, he’s good in the tackle and his passing is excellent, far ahead of Kelly and I’d argue James. Also he adds height in the middle, which I like. For me his failings are all experience based. Needs to play at a quicker level and looked like he...

Call me when Shippers defensive stats and passing range is close to Sheafs. I’ve got to be honest, in a pure football sense I’d take Kelly or James, they have a bit more nous for that role. If we spend the £600k or whatever elsewhere I won’t be crying, but I like him as a player and I think...

Our entire team got caught in possession first half of the season. Players improve, especially younger players. Besides we’ve shown you the stats on his ball retention and it’s as good as anyone else’s. If only Opta tracked smiles...

That’s why you need equitable cash distribution, a better youth model, and a sensible spending cap. Then everyone’s happy: owners can make millions because past a certain point they can’t spend any more on the team, fans get a competitive league, players get more opportunities in a more even...

Disagree. Immediately maybe not, but as we have this model of sustaining the club through development I think he’s a good signing. Certainly better in that respect than Kelly or James. He topped all the stats in L1, just like Walsh. He’s young. There’s a player in there we can bring on. I’d put...
