I won a competition to name him. They banned my initial entry ' Scruffy McScruffy' - they thought the name was a bit silly.

Agree - he's helped link the play up and made a great run where Gyok should have played him in for an almost certain goal imo.

Agree - they were all singing 'Jamie Allen's a baby' at him at the end of the Blackburn game. I sometimes wonder about our fans.

If that was a midweek game that we lost and was a bloody freezing evening, I was at that (would have been about 1976, which on reflection is way too early re: Kirkland, so must have been a different game against them) Just checked - a few years before he was even born !!
