I think we have played quite well overall to be honest.
The only players who have played poorly so far are Rooney, Sturridge, Kane, Dier, Walker, Rose, Hart, Smalling, Cahill, Alli and Sterling.
Everyone else has done fine.
Clueless my missus!
She just walked past the TV as the national anthems were playing and God Save the Queen came up and as the camera panned down the England line she quipped 'Look at them, it's the English national anthem, but half of them aren't even English!'
:(
I haven't got much of a problem with Sturridge and Kane. Kane is the best striker we have and Sturridge can make things happen out of nothing.
Problem with Sturridge last time was he was playing far too deep and therefore offered no threat. Hodgson said Kane looked jaded, so hopefully this...
It is just the music I had a problem with I think. It was brilliant but out of kilter for me and just pumped up the pomposity level to 11 on the Spinal Tap amp.
Hmm, maybe. Just seemed very overblown to me and a complete departure, almost like watching another show.
Music is so important and I think this score was just too grand. It was a very good score, but I think it deflected from the action.
Hmm.....
I liked it a lot.... but....that first 15 mins or so, just how pompous, self indulgent and full of its own self importance was that?
It was like an almost complete removal and departure from the rest of the show, with its very own big very important score written especially for it...
Well one thing we do no for certain is that it most certainly cannot be an England Belgium final
The vote has been taken and we are no longer having anything more to do with Brussels.
