Next season squad if we stay up...

I think we’ll change formation, and recruitment will be based on that. We’re crying out for some different attacking options, another Callum O’Hare style player, would be great, or some pacey wide players. I’m keen on a striker but appreciate this is a hard position to fill, and I truly believe...

    Gustavo Hamer

Agreed, if there's PL interest could well be £8-10m - if not then i'm not sure we'd get any more than £4/5m, and if we stay up then I can't see why we'd accept that amount.

    O'Hare

Amazing player, wasn’t getting the goals and assists to match at the start but he is now. Proven plenty wrong too!

    Player Ratings v Reading

Poor performances all round - however I thought the first half was a decent enough performance (James had a very tidy 15 minutes), could quite easily have gone in level or even ahead on another. Reading a decent side but they have GREAT individuals. Ejaria and Olise are PL bound, both of them...

    The next 3 games.

Again, just don't lose these games, 3 points is palatable, 5 or more is excellent.

    EFL Stats Fullbacks

Pretty clear from that, that McCallum is exceptional. Of all the players in the side I think he will play at the highest level. Not per se the most talented, but has the attributes to succeed in the PL. His progression from the start of last season to now is so impressive.

    Marc McNulty

Some strange points of view on here. He was getting life changing contracts offered to him, so he left, and helped the clubs make over a million £ on the transfer too. He could’ve flopped in league one, broke his leg, anything. Plus he probably backed himself to do well at Reading. Don’t blame...

    Signings Incoming......

Well the nuances are that black players are labelled negatively in ways white players aren’t, and ‘difficult’ is one. Was Junior Brown difficult, was Hiwula difficult? Not that I heard, and I don’t think there’s any solid evidence of that. I’m not saying the post was racist, or that the poster...

    Signings Incoming......

I think his original point had truth in it, and then you’ve said ‘not everything is racist’ and got a bit angry about something which you more than likely don’t appreciate the nuances of. 5 black players all called ‘difficult’. True for a couple of them, but not the others. His response, which...

Their forum pretty positive about him as well, feel like this is a no brainer if we can agree terms with him

Would take Crowley, would be a big upgrade on Allen who we could try and shift either now or in the summer. Still young, looks like he could be high potential. Birmingham don't exactly play to his strengths either. Given we have a young squad, it might just suit him here.

    January transfer window

Transfer values meaningless really, too many variables to say how much he’s worth. If he’s only attracting interest from 1-2 clubs vs. 5-6, all the player-based variables, financial strength of selling club, etc. Wouldn’t be surprised if we sold him for anywhere between £5-10m (total package).

    Next 4 league games....

The key is not to lose to those around us, I’d take 5 points from that if it was a defeat to Reading, and then 2 draws and a win

    Ratings v Millwall

Well Maddison was 18 and playing in league one, so it’s not really a comparison. King was a good player no doubt, but no chance was he the best in the division when we had him, whereas McSheffrey was in that bracket.

    Ratings v Millwall

Ah see what you’re getting at. I did say pre Birmingham move. I think McSheffrey was more or less the best player in the division at that time. King was good but not that good

    Ratings v Millwall

No chance is he running 21km at 3:27 pace - that’s like elite national level running

    Ratings v Millwall

Yeah possibly too high, I can’t think of a player we’ve had that’s been that good when we’ve had them though. Maybe Scott Dann or Westwood?
