    Behind the goal

Gone block 29 too - it's got to start somewhere. Prefer sitting behind the goal, different perception to the 'broadcast' view. When I had a look there were ok numbers considering how much of the East Stand has sold out.

Agree to an extent but I think you could make the case that signing Sheaf and Gyo on permanents follows the model. We just had them last season and we have to hope they improve on what we saw last season.

Do you think we will be in a relegation battle?

Yeah totally agree that we probably would've been fine - but at the time I'd convinced myself Rotherham could gather momentum and if we lost that game it might break us a bit. All I'm saying is that whilst the end table reflected a different story, it felt like we were in a relegation battle...

Do you think we will be in a relegation battle?

Do you think? Pre Rotherham, had we lost we'd have gone below them in the table and they'd have had games in hand. Appreciate we hit form following and stayed up comfortably but could've easily lost that game and then who knows what would have happened.

    Attendances Next Season

Got ours there but had a look at this and reconsidering, think 29 was more full when I checked but not many. Would be great to get a proper atmosphere behind there.

    Attendances Next Season

Be gobsmacked if it's as low as 16/17k - think it'll be at least 20k We've sold 10k season tickets, more or less Away fans going to bring anywhere between 2-6k fans

    So...

I think you've made it up, we had one of the worst - our xG was 4th worst - Birmingham, Wednesday and Bristol City were below us

    Attendances Next Season

Think this is being undershot slightly. When did we last sell this many season tickets? Perfect storm with promotion, no footy with covid, and ricoh return - be surprised if we average less than 20k - think it’ll 21/22k average.

    So...

Top 6 is ridiculous - as others say our midfield and defence is weaker than last season, and the other discernible improvements are Moore, Waghorn, Bright and Jones - and only Waghorn is proven at this level, and the latter two have serious question marks over them. Hopefully we sort the...

2 more players for this lineup

Up front we have, but even then we had Gyokeres last season. Ostigard, James and McCallum 3 of our best 5/6 players in the 2nd half of the season. I'm not complaining, you can tell from other teams' transfers that it's not been straightforward. Clearly we've not finished yet, but we were just...

2 more players for this lineup

Agreed, worried by our business so far. There’s some big gaps left to fill.

yep seems a good lad but not up to the champ on last season’s evidence

England win Euros or Sky Blues get promoted to Premier League?

I don’t think I’m country over club per se, but during major tournaments I feel myself wanting England to win even more than Cov. I think it’s something about the jeopardy, a major tournament could end at any time and they don’t come around often. If Cov lose then we go again next week. It’s...

Assuming we'll have favourable terms on this deal, I'd say it's worth the risk

    Gustavo Hamer

Tricky one with Gus - only two years left on his deal so the club will feel under pressure to cash in. £4m seems a poor deal for us though (yes we only paid £1.3m and he had a bad end to the season), would be disappointed if he went for that. A good season next year, bit more money in the...

    21/22 Summer transfer mega-thread

Ha maybe, although your team has just massively underperformed based on this logic, so how many clubs are in for these players? And you’ve bloated your wage bill with these underachievers.

    Ben Sheaf future

Leeds had this situation with Augustin - their 'obligation' to buy was dependent on them being promoted, which they were. However they wriggled out of it on a technicality of the contract stating 'promoted by June 30th', and of course they weren't due to the Covid break. Imagine our survival...
