The Club's answer to our situation!

Well they are probably right now . Think they need to downscale it then. By the time it is ready we will probably be in the Conference and only be getting about 1,000 each week.

    Crowd for Wednesday?

I think we can all have one block each. I bagsy Block 20. Any other takers?

The Club's answer to our situation!

I thought the club's answer to everything, including poverty, war and world famine, was 'We're building a new stadium.'

    Crowd for Wednesday?

Yep. Think they would have expected a walk up crowd, but after yesterday's shambles I think hardly anyone will go. Wouldn't surprise me if it was as low as 3,000.

    Pardew

They've won again since then. That's 5 wins on the bounce and 6 unbeaten.

    FAO the 'Pressley Out' brigade

Very fair assessment. I do think a club needs a degree of stability but you can't just stick with a manager because you want stability. You stick with a manager because you believe in him and if you no longer believe him and feel he is taking the club in the wrong direction, then you sack him.

    Fair play to worcester

Yep. Hats off to Worcester. Not taking anything away from them at all, but I reckon Coundon Primary Under 11 Girls would have given us a bit of a hard game yesterday too. No problem with Worcester winning, but for them to dominate so entirely whereby even a 4 or 5 nil victory wouldn't have...

    Looking forward to the JPT

True, but a narrow defeat to Plymouth will seem much more like a positive result after the Worcester fiasco.

    50 years of support .......

Just to summarise ...... Am I right in saying, We are a team very much on the decline, that hasn't had any success whatsoever for nearly 30 years, playing in a stadium that isn't ours, to ever dwindling crowds, while talking about a new stadium that isn't even going to be in the city, while...

I'm not talking about him tackling, I'm talking about him not going for a ball that was much nearer to him than to the opposition and him making no attempt whatsoever to even go for the ball. It wasn't even a tackling situation.

    Looking forward to the JPT

I'll be there as per usual. The really positive thing is, there is no way on this earth we will play as badly again.

Totally agree. Never been a fan of his, but lately he had been playing well. Yesterday just reminded me why I don't rate the lad. He was a disgrace to the shirt yesterday. Auto-piloted his way through the game as if on a training pitch and never even broke sweat.

    50 years of support .......

As I said yesterday, that is the first time I have ever, in all the years of going up, just remained in my seat when the City have scored. I always jump out my seat, jump up and down, punch the air, cheer and clap like a lunatic. Yesteday, I just sat there and clapped gently. Never even got...

SP it's time for you to leave the building

And to be totally dominated by a non-league club that isn't even from a higher tier of non league is something beyond a joke.

3 key things re the players yesterday. 1. Possibly our 2 best players at the moment, Reda and JOB, put in the required effort, but absolutely abysmal performances. 2. Some players looked slightly disinterested, Nouble being a case in point And .. 3. We had certain individual players who...
