Added time at the 'business end' of the season

That's if 10 substitutions are made in the second half (rarely happens), but I agree it would tend to make the second half additional time longer.

Added time at the 'business end' of the season

Don't disagree with the latter point (or the first tbh!) but they need to implement a rule for the whole season and not just pick the last couple of games. Suspect they'll apply it to our play off final. Final thought, why is it always the second half that has plus 8-10 minutes, whereas (barring...

Added time at the 'business end' of the season

Idiocy. Like changing the offside rule for the last 6 games, when it's been different for the first 32/40/ whatever.

Added time at the 'business end' of the season

Not sure what is happening, but seeing the added 8 minutes at 'Boro the other night, and Mina scoring the Everton equaliser in the 99th minute, I notice that the added time (especially where there is just one goal in it) seems to get cranked up for the important games (and then extra again). If...

    Transfer targets

Yes, agree - i was talking about us not going for journeymen players in general (obviously not JWP, who I think is a no go, due to wages/competition)

No, wasn't suggesting he was (maybe badly worded!)

We're not sure any of our current players are yet (in order I would say Hamer, followed by Gyo then McNally .

Wages - regardless of competition from existing PL clubs. That's why I'd be looking at Championship's better players / ambitious youngsters with potential sell on value. Don't want to throw money at journeymen who are just after a pay day.

    Still pinching myself

The difference between winning and not is ridiculous financially. We should still be in a decent position should the worse happen, but should we win it'll be the equivalent of winning the lottery. Actually, it's the difference between having 4 numbers come up and 6 numbers plus the bonus ball.

    Flying in?

I always thought the concept of gated communities was weird. Still wouldn't want to go that way, but the older I've got, the more I understand why people choose to.

    1987

Yep. many memories of the day. @SkyBlueSam01 's granddad (RIP) doing the Mexican wave on the coach on the way back to Leamington Spa; stopping off in a village in the middle of nowhere and invading the local 'disco' and the camp DJ being terrified, until he realised that we were not going to...

    Transfer targets

That's pretty much how I'd call it Rob. Sign players like McNally plus a couple/few of the better Championship players, to ensure that we would be ready to come back strong if the likely happened. Although I think he has a red card or two in him, that Marvelous Nakamba for Luton reminded me of a...
