And there's only one more thing more pointless than someone pointing out that it is pointless and that is someone pointing out that it is pointless pointing it out.

Exactly. There is very much the issue of eyeline with the retirement village (a posh retirement village at that) and blockage of view and light.

    The Fall

Totally agree. He was cold and calculating and any violence he had shown throughout was like a work of art, meticulous and precise. He had never shown outright thuggish violence, so it was quite laughable that he suddenly came out with fists flying like a football hooligan. Ridiculous. And...

    The Fall

Dexter's ending was very lame indeed. Big mistake having this third series of The Fall. There just was no real story to be had at all and the idea behind it was so, so wafer thin and one dimensional.

Many of us have been saying that for months, but hey ho! Smoke and mirrors.

    The Fall

Oh dear. What a ridiculous ending. Suddenly started to become a Jason Bourne, John McClane, Brian Mills film, where credibility just suddenly went straight out of the window. I am of course talking about the clinic scene. Laughable that a patient could do all those things and get away with so...

Okay. My thinking was that you could have taller stands and that due to the pitch being sunken that the stands would be taller, but just therefore be the same height as a normal stand.

Well obviously high, but it will be higher still if there is a sunken pitch.

    The Fall

Would loved to have been a fly on the wall for the pre series 3 production meet. Writer: I have an idea for a series 3. Producer: Great! Let's hear it. Writer: What if Spector lives, but loses his memory. We then play out the whole series to see if he is lying or not. Producer: Great! Go on...

We need to stop talking about sunken pitches and start looking for sunken treasure.

    Brian Hill

I remember him vaguely, but I always thought he was a centre half so that shows how much I saw of him.

I think it's all to do with getting more people in isn't it. Would mean though the stands would be at a more acute angle with more fans looking down on the play.

It really has dragged. Still got that great atmospheric feel, but good God talk about padding!! Sent from my Hudl 2 using Tapatalk

Just wonder if all the digging would be in order for Sisu to make their escape through underground tunnels. In the Great Escape that meant lots of prisoners shot by Nazi's as soon as the escapees appeared on the other side of the fence. With Sisu it would be Steve Brown on the machine gun turrets.

And as Cov don't want a massive stadium they would surely not want to be coughing up the extra cash that would be involved. The sunken pitch would be for Coventry City's benefit only.

A stadium with a sunken pitch that surely entails adding several more milion on to the cost of the project.

You have 24 hours to live on this .............

I would write to Kiefer Sutherland and ask him to make '3' instead of 24. The equilibrium will just be shorter and he will kill only an 8th of the people he usually kills to save the world.
