I have sky blue blood in me....

My crystal ball is telling me that we should wait until it is official before saying goodbye.

Surely SISU are to blame for this?

Well, Robins has been rattled by something, surely. He is not one to be messed around. But what a shit if he ends up being manager of Huddersfield for heavens sake.

Surely SISU are to blame for this?

We know he is good now. It would be good to sign him up for longer/ increase the release clause at the same time.

Surely SISU are to blame for this?

How on earth can SISU write a contract that means that Robins is even talking to these clubs? It must be big money if they let him go. If by some miracle he turns them down we should get him signed up for a longer period.

    points of concern

I agree with most of the post but I think the boring 1-nil is not for me. I pay my money, I have started to get used to the entertainment dished up this season. No return to mediocrity for me.

    The Old time supporters

Dude, in 1967 my auntie gave me a Liverpool shirt, It went in the bin. It doesn't matter what generation you are, there has always been the lure of 'bigger' teams, glory hunting etc. I think it is ok to support other teams if you migrate from the home catchment area. You should be proud of...

True indeed, I take a flask and am quite happy by the end of the game.

    The Old time supporters

think A privilege you should be grateful for. We had some great times in the top flight. At least 10 relagation battles and a top half finish you can count on one hand. At least you are seeing a revival. I never had that really. Take the League Cup semi in 81 and a couple of good cup...

Not sure the football was better then. But the spirit in the team was probably better because people came from the local areas. I'm sure we all remember times when the crowds were better and the games were more exciting and we were all committed to going to every game like some of the 'at all...

Recession, crap football, crap managers, crap owners, discerning people who look for entertainment at a price and above all a resillience worn down by all of the former.

Not sure you are right on that one. I was talking to some Sky Blues season ticket holders and the consensus is that they will never pay over inflated prices if we end up in the premiership. Their view is that the game has got to come back to the fans. All of them are earning reasonable money...

American film with a kid wearing a city away top?

Must admit, having panned the OP I checked it out and it is a bit surreal seeing the shirt on a a film.

    New Striker

Ball; a rotund fellow isn't he? Needs to get down the gym and shed a stone or two. He never seems to make much of a contribution, although in fairness he comes on as sub with 20 mins to go.

Well, the honeymoon period is well and truly over

Agreed, it would be naive to think that there was any significant change in our performances. I think Thorn would have screwed things up for us but Robbins has steadied the ship. The next stage is to kick on. In my opinion there was no honeymoon, just expectation that things needed to...
