Whillips. A combination of the two would be fantastic.

Maybe Swanson is on his way out? Or Conor Thomas perhaps? One in, one out.

gut feelings: name 3 OTHER(hehehe) sides that will challenge for the league 1 title

I think Sheff Utd, but not at all sure about Wigan. Maybe Doncaster and i know they have started off badly, but a few people are tipping Bradford too.

    The change in 5 months

For once in our lives we need to hope the Geordies have a fantastic season and keep winning so they don't need him. The worst they do and the fewer goals their score, the more likely they would be to recall him. Still don't think he's ready for the Premier, but you know what clubs are like when...

Okay, where's the best place going to be?

There's City stuff at the Ricoh? :o

    Defensive mistakes

Reda's game was a bit error riddled too. One terrible bit of ball control just outside our own area that gave them a chance to attack and also down the left flank deep in our own half when he was nearly dispossessed, when he should have just cleared the ball upfield or put it out for a throw.

Okay, where's the best place going to be?

To the left or to the right? Plenty of room, but just can't make me mind up where TM should go when we erect the statue in about 3 years time. :thinking about:

    Their Number 9

I was quite impressed with him last night.Thought he lead their line well.

    The change in 5 months

Difference for me is in 3 players. They have made all the difference. Ricketts bringing order, collectiveness and calmness and great experience to the back four. Vincelot breaking up play, keeping it simple, holding the midfield together and giving us a bit of steel. Armstrong being a true...

    Goals from Outside the box

£250? You were mugged mate. Mine was only £249.

    Their second goal

He should have gone full stretch at it. As you say, we will never know if it was saveable or not.

    Crewe match player ratings

Yep, just watched the highlights and have now marked him down accordingly. Also, on watching the highlights and slo moing it, I think that maybe Burge could have done more for Crewe's first goal. It was still a pearler of a shot, but I think he might be a little disappointed he didn't make...

    Crewe Manager view

I've just seen it and watched it several times and even slo mo'd it and I can't see the ref has done much wrong there at all.

    Crewe Manager view

From what he said I was expecting to see the ref dive across the box trying to block the shot.

    Crewe Fans

Was a lovely gesture. You don't expect away fans to be coming up with a banner such as this. Much appreciated whoever it was who did it.

    Crewe match player ratings

He's very quickly becoming my favourite Sky Blue player I have to say. He makes a world of difference to the midfield.

    Maddison

Do a deal with Newcastle. Let them have Maddison, but they then loan him straight back to us for the season and also as part of the deal say we have Armstrong til the end of the season too.
  19. Otis

    Maddison

Totally agree. He was a real thorn in the Crewe defence and his movement and passing were excellent. Shame he faded in the second half.

    O What a perfect day

It was a perfect day. Great game, exciting stuff, scored 3 goals, won, Ricoh bouncing and we are still top of the league.
