Linnell mentioned this yesterday. He said he's been asked to host the evening. The BBC are happy for him to do so but he felt a tad uncomfortable about doing it. He stated that if he decided to go ahead he would refuse to accept a fee from SISU for it.

I doubt it was as last minute as what's been stated. Last Thursday Tim had emails on his phone that showed he/SISU had made indicative offers.

I think it's also worth mentioning that Tim became a director of Prozone 6 days before Ranson left there and the club.
