Agree. Proschwitz works his socks off and next week we need a really good work ethic. Not a game to carry passengers, so Maddison in, Tudgay in, Barton out and Nouble out.

Barton i just trod in something

Barton is not a defensive midfielder though is he. He quite often does find himself in and around the box. Do you know how many goals he's got over his entire career? 6. There's no doubt the lad has skill, but he lacks pace, can't tackle, can't score, lacks strength, doesn't run into space...

No, but this is Coventry City. You can't tell me that at least the notion of us losing hasn't entered your head! :D

Barton i just trod in something

JOB gets away with stuff over Barton because he is a constant goal threat, won't chicken out of a tackle and always gives maximum effort, even if he has a poor game. JOB has 6 goals this season. Barton has how many?

What's the point of this club

    But tomorrow we'll be sober.

    Please don't.

Nail on head. Some of the other teams play teams with nowt to play for. Crawley need to win. And I think they will.

Anyone now questioning a season ticket after that Crewe performance ?

Thing is, this was Pressley's team. Think you have to give TM, or whoever, a chance to build his own team in the Summer. We bought very unwisely this season. Not TMs fault, so what you saw out there today wasn't his team. ST for me unless something untoward happens.

Maybe it's too raw after today and I need to think on it a bit more, but have been totally in the no camp and have said we are safe. I honestly think we will lose next week though, so it's all about other teams and whether they bail us out. Looking at the table it still looks okay and...

I stuck up for him too. Those little bits of magic he could produce gave me faith that he was a match winner. He's done nowt for several games now though. Drop him next week and play Proschwitch with Maddison in the hole behind him.

Barton i just trod in something

I wish he'd stay out there instead of drifting inside and then giving the ball away. :D

Barton i just trod in something

TM entirely right to remove him from the proceedings at half time.

Who would you retain in this current squad?

But the big concern with Fleck is that he disappears out of games. He started well today and then after about 25 mins it was like he wasn't even on the pitch. Lacks any degree of consistency.

Get rid asap. Not the answer. Unless the question is what's rich and strolls around the park all day?

    No lap of honour

They did. Said exactly that before the game.

    season overall view...

Incredibly lightweight. Totally lacking in backbone. Too many players who let their heads drop and disappear out of matches. Really worrying habit of collapsing like a pack of cards as soon as a goal goes in for the opposition.

Who would you retain in this current squad?

I agree with Mowbray, who said he found a lot out about certain players today. Barton - Sorry, but that was last chance saloon and we need players with more passion, heart, desire, strength and pace. Fleck - Too often he disappears out of games. I hardly knew he was playing after about 25...

    No lap of honour

Nope. Agreed before the game that they would not go to the dressing room and then come back out again.

    What it's come to

I disagree Stu and agree with Benno and Eakin. He had plenty of time to pass that back to Burge. The opposition player was about 5 yards away.

    What needs to happen?

I'm the same, Nick. Absolutely 100%, nailed on confidence that we would stay up. After today and looking at next week, I am very much expecting us to lose against Crawley, so I think we may well be in the lap of the gods and I really think we could go down now. As Linnell said on the radio...
