Coventry City Highfield Road collector regrets move

Yes, but it was a very obvious dig. OSB said it wasn't all rose-tinted at HR and I agreed. No-one said the Ricoh was buzzing and Torch knows I prefer the Ricoh, so it was an obvious dig, so I just replied to that. ;) The problem I had with HR was that I had been going up since the late 60's...

Coventry City Highfield Road collector regrets move

No, I agree, but some have tried to paint HR as this wonderful place where it was all sunshine and smiles. I've been to plenty of games where HR has been half empty and soulless. Load of bad times there too. That's the rose-tinted bit I am on about. I don't know why Torch brought the Ricoh...

Nope, the Ricoh is like a library. Only buzzed about 5 or 6 times in its history. :(

    Reality meeting

But getting someone interested in the club is going to be so much easier if the club is successful and we are putting bums on seats.

Totally agree, OSB. Very rose-tinted. I too have some great memories of HR, but then some pretty dreadful memories as well. It could be like a library most of the time.

Anybody in the Crawley end on Sunday?

I've had away fans sit next to me in the past. I don't mind it as long as they don't celebrate too wildly. Nowt worse than having your nose rubbed in it at your own ground.

    TM's message

“You have to have a calmness and aggression about you and play the game – go and win your individual battles and not get sucked into a scrap, which is maybe not our strength." TM I wouldn't doubt for a single second that the game will indeed be a scrap unfortunately.

Could be worse, he could go up every year to where Highfield Road used to be at 4.45 on the anniversary of our last game there. ;) Unless of course Paul Sheehy IS CJ! :D

Time for Madison to get into the gym this Summer?

We need to get him in the gym for this Sunday. Give him 3 tones of Whey Protein.

Anybody in the Crawley end on Sunday?

Would say it best that you don't go on Sunday then. You're a jinx!

Anybody in the Crawley end on Sunday?

Think if I went in the home end I wouldn't even celebrate. If a City goal went in, I would probably say 'Oh, bum! That's a shame. That was a poor goal to concede wasn't it,' while inside my spleen and kidneys would be jumping up and down for joy and be having an internal organs party. Either...

    Election 2015

Do not trust him as far as I can throw him. Sneaky, smarmy, disingenuous, shady and not at all to be trusted. And that's just his good points.

And 'Stop strolling round the park like a bunch of Nancy's, not wanting to get your shorts dirty, you Muppets!'

    Big Sunday Predictions

Hope in some ways that the City don't ask for motivational messages from their own faithful. Think we would get a lot of 'Pull your finger out of your arses, you clowns!' Think there could be a few negative ones too though as well, mind.

Who will be the hero on Sunday?

What we need on Sunday is for Samurai Odelusi to play well!!
