    Freddy Adu

Love that Yakubu is only 31! The best one I've heard of was the lad Palace signed a couple of years ago. They have a scout who literally spends his day sitting outside Croydon immigration centre and he bought into the club a 15 year old lad with a beard. They spent a fortune on him giving his...

    Freddy Adu

    A) This is a valid point. Pretty much why African sides always do well in the U20 World Cup. Read somewhere that at a recent tournament 18 of the 23 man (think it was Nigeria) squad withdrew when FIFA insisted on using wrist scanners to determine age. It's been suggested Taribo West's in his...

    Winter olympics

Had tickets for the Gold Medal game but couldn't make it in the end. Was gutted. One of the faces of Canada and world sport scoring in OT was a perfect ending. Oh well. Will just have to wait till we sign Sidney and we can then see him every week!

    Jordon a target for Ipswich

I do get your point however it's unfair judge a player if they're not playing in their preferred position. When he was at full back he looked good, in other areas he looks useful. Needs to be given a chance imo.

    Jordon a target for Ipswich

I do find it harsh that so many have criticised him this season but he's played in virtually every position possible besides his natural one. Fair play to him, Macfarlane and Pressley for trying in different areas though. I think he's more than useful in at least two of these areas and the...

    did the new players impress?

I just don't think he's a goal scorer. Still looked like a good pick up but not a replacement for Leon imo. Different type of player and that could be why he's been played on the wing in the past. For the record I did say when DMG left we've got a better option for this league in Clarke. As...

    No to Hull Tigers

    I'll make some calls.

    did the new players impress?

Already put this on another thread but... Marshall could be the League One Peter Ndlovu! Very quick and not afraid to take on their entire team. Delfouneso doesn't look like a goal machine but held up the ball very well. His strike ratio backs that up tbh in the Championship, 7 in 67 games.

    Winter olympics

Love the Winter Olympics more than any other multi sport event. Curling though is just sweeping and ironing isn't it?

    No to Hull Tigers

They're a really good bunch. I've been discussing with them and Cardiff about an identity (colours, location, crest and name) demonstration at some point in the near future. Fan organisations from other clubs are also very interested in backing us up and getting involved...

    No to Hull Tigers

Has anyone on here joined their campaign? I have and know a few other City fans that have. Only 2 quid. Get a wristband and a badge too.

    Laudrup Gone

With regards to Laudrup going. It may seem like Pressley hasn't been in the job long. However as of tonight 50% of the managers in the PL/FL have taken their job in the 333 days SP has been in charge here. It's even more shocking when you consider that some managers like Coyle have taken roles...

More than capable in his actual position though.

    first time in 17 years

I think you're right regarding Spurs. I seem to remember that Ernie and Willie were going to do the flick up & volley at half time in the original game.

    David Kolodynski

Almost certainly a wind up. I played against him every lunch time at Avon Valley and trained with him in the school team too. He was in the year below but was still better than pretty much anyone (me aside obviously :)) . We had to some excellent keeper v striker battles! Ended up scouting him...

Sky Blue Trust to help the ball boys/girls

We've arranged for three 12 year old lads who were all ballboys at the Ricoh to do it on Tuesday night. Free entry has been offered to their parents too by BC. Thanks to Sonia and all involved at Bristol City who have made this possible. If anyone has a son or daughter that was a ball girl/boy...

    Racing Santander boycott

Great to see the opposition players and supporters being so supportive. Was certainly very odd to watch. Reminded me of a Barca game a few years ago. Barca needed a point to win the league and the opposition needed a point to stay up. They went at it for 80 odd minutes but then just gave up and...
