Would you now back a new ground?

1987, 250,000 people on the streets of Cov. 60's to late 80's huge support for CCFC. WW2, Coventry defies Luftwaffe. 2014: I walk into a pub in spon end before Gillingham game with a CCCFC shirt on; "oh yeah, Cov are playing today" comes from the regular's mouths

Would you now back a new ground?

Would you now back a new ground?

No, they've come from a northamptonshire stadium's bin....?

Would you now back a new ground?

Will you buy 10 pies for yourself after paying £25 to get in tho, plus travelling costs, is the question though?

    England v San Marino

When DW signed for Arsenal, I said he will do well. He's doing it a CL, England level, the premiership is yet to be seen, but I have confidence in the lad :)

Would you now back a new ground?

When Jordan Clarke fires us to the premiership with his 60 goals in 2 seasons of course!

Would you now back a new ground?

What financial advantages will the club receive if we build a stadium of our own? Outside the City to keep it simpler?

:claping hands: Ox and Townsend on the wings por favor :)

Would you now back a new ground?

Ah :) I'm sorry, but I just don't see a financial advantage of a new stadium (outside the city). The cost of building, plus interest on loans, reduced attendance (if outside the city), the lack of pies sold , lack of business/conference/concerts etc for the rest of 342 day out 365....

Would you now back a new ground?

Don't forget to take the sell outs every other week, buying 10 pies each, out of that equation :whistle:Plus the 342 concerts held there at £100 each when CCFC aren't playing :)

    England v San Marino

There was a player offside beyond Lallana. Agreed about Rooney, how he is nearly an all time England scorer is a disgrace to the greats of Charlton etc. His goals have generally come against poor opposition.

Would you now back a new ground?

I meant financially, not emotionally :) nothing wrong with a ground that has the clubs identity :)

    England v San Marino

I have hardly ever praised Milner, but he has done well tonight. Maybe semi-pro is his level

    Are People really Bleating?

Didn't sisu want the whole lot tho? Whereas Wasps have effectively bought the leasehold, which was always on the cards for CCFC/SISU IIRC?

Would you now back a new ground?

What will the Pro's be NW?

    Are People really Bleating?

As well as a councils job is not support a football club that 3% of it's population attend. As much as us CCFC fans don't like that fact, it's as simple as that.

Would you now back a new ground?

On another note, people moan about where the Ricoh is, and use that as an excuse not to go. So a stadium outside the city, probably harder to get to, that will increase gates, yes?
