I would really like a some more experienced heads in the squad to bring on the younger players and control the game better. Especially in that midfield area.
Well this is great for depth but Giles has been outstanding on the left. Giles has the most crosses in the Championship to date. I can only think Giles will be pushed up on the left in place of Allen.
Allen at this level so far seems to give the ball away a lot and gets muscled off. Hopefully he will get better as the games come, but I have a feeling that Walker once match fit will come in for him.
God is on top form. All through pre season and onto the league he can’t stop scoring. The likes of Giles crossing will give him more opportunities in the air. Against Oxford last season he scored a lovely headed goal.
This deserves a thread on its own.
