This I’d agree with. Wages need to rise and conditions need to improve in a lot of these jobs.

We do this in the NHS as well, hire a load of doctors and nurses from abroad because we don’t want to pay to train them. Regardless setting up training courses, filling them, then waiting for people to qualify takes time. Years at the very least. What do we do in the mean time?
