No. How Rooney is close to being technically the best ever striker for England, is an insult to Bobby Charlton and them sort of players IMO.
Never produced when it matters, goals generally against poor opposition.
I've officially drank enough to hardly remember the game today, but reading the threads, I completely agree, no positives this season. Best we can hope for is a JPT run, but even that is unlikely :(
I had the game on in background. Germany missed some very easy chances. But Poland defended very well generally. Got behind the ball, and fought to win it back. The 1st goal was a fantastic header. The second was a very clinical counter. Fully deserved for Poland IMO :claping hands:
