    England game. Bit of fun

It was mine I think. Expected result and qualified. That pitch was shocking. Players from both sides were consistently losing their footing and there were some awful divots. A couple of days on the beach now then hopefully a half decent game against the Swiss on Tuesday. Some good trips...

    Armstrong

I thought his age and nationality means he doesn't need to be named.

I'd say Notts are more like Fester and Cardiff are more like Wolves.

    England U21s at the Ricoh

This was mentioned on the other thread. Why do the FA/UEFA keep using these stupid kick off times?

    England U21's

The play off game for the Euros at the Molineux was something like a 5.45 midweek kick off a few months ago. Why play at that time? Completely bonkers.

    Coventry Blaze

He'll be back this year. Now that will be weird to see! The equivalent of Oggy getting a job at the Villa and then seeing him on the away bench at the Ricoh if we got them in the cup.

JPT - Only Swindon to be concerned about?

Exeter away please. One of the few of the 92 I'm yet to visit. You've gotta love a competition that puts Rochdale in the North East and Wycombe in the South West. Went to Luton/Orient last night. Orient were a great bunch but I've never known a crowd to have so little interest about a game...

I liked that too. Be interesting to see what United and Real are going to do now with the two players. With the Euros coming up DDG needs to play. United should tell him that if he wants to play he needs to sign a longer term deal so they can get something for him next summer. As for Navas...

Could've been taken out of context. "Unhappy how I've been treated. Will never play Peace" Could mean he'll never play for him again. Then again it could mean despite being treated 'badly' he won't play him as in double cross.

Sheffield Utd get a week off

It counts for players from U19 and above who are on duty. I don't think away teams take anything for a Sky game.

    Roman Abramovich's

He wouldn't have to break the bank.

    A Mistake?

I seem to remember it's not much revenue, if any at all for the away side. U19s upwards count towards the total on international duty. Unsure on if they have to have played a professional game though.

    Southend (Home) Match Thread

Should be a home banker this one however losing the players we have is a big blow. Hopefully more prep time will have helped with the reorganisation of the side.
