    What do people actually want?

Isn’t it fundamental that a city council should represent its own city rather than sell the city’s leading sporting club’s home to southerners. One or two on this forum have forgotten that.

I think you’re right, they will be flexible. Having allowed Bury to postpone all their games so far, I don’t see how they couldn’t be in our case.

Match Thread Coventry City vs. Gillingham Match Thread - Saturday 24th Aug

Don’t think they have. No consistency from referrers, Franky second yellow for less obvious handball than we have seen today.

according to google maps, it only takes 5 minutes longer to nec from city centre than to the Ricoh. How have Brighton survived?

Cllr Jim O'Boyle about the council / land for stadium

Like the barriers to Ricoh ownership put in the way by the council selling to wasps, despite the then Councillor Thompson telling the CT, when we returned from Northampton, that there was still a route to ownership of the stadium for CCFC. What happened weeks later- wasps. That was some barrier...

Cllr Jim O'Boyle about the council / land for stadium

I’m not sure that mentioning the train is a great argument. Bus routes depend on location, half the cost but half the income despite being potentially the cause of more than half (stadium naming rights). Quality of pitch if shared not demonstrated by past experience.(How many is a load who...

Cllr Jim O'Boyle about the council / land for stadium

I would rather own our own ground with a football pitch than a co own a rugby field.

Just the way they do the line markings for wasps would have to change. They are not just white lines, they are gouged out of the surface. I’m happy watching good football on a football pitch.

    Easy fixtures

Bolton were playing us at home in front of an impassioned crowd who would have lifted them. They have lost their two away games, if one of our disallowed efforts ( or penalty shouts) had been given they would probably have crumpled.

yes, wasps and the council have been very quiet as the club has been trying to get the immediate consequences of eviction sorted out.

Survival first is what matters. Support through the turnstiles at St Andrews contributes to that.

Well, we do know quite a lot actually, but I am not going to repeat it all as some clown will only say and off we go again.
