Would have been so much nicer if he had got to see the win first. Never a good thing for someone to die obviously, but if it were me I would like to go after a City win with a smile on my face. RIP whoever you are. Sent from my Hudl 2 using Tapatalk

Normally, yes, but not today. I have been critical of him, but today I thought was his best game for some time.

    So, Reice Charles Cooke...

I've certainly not written Burge off just yet. Shame we're not still in the cups such as the JPT, cause he could then get game time there. He's still young and Oggy seemingly rates him.

That was by far the worst......

I looked and I saw the main stand clapping and the Port Vale fans clapping. Would seem pretty obvious that with the away fans a lot of their lot wouldn't have been listening. Seems to me that over that side of the ground it would appear that everyone was clapping. After about 20 seconds it...

Yep. Could understand a thread if someone was disrupting the occasion, but not where everyone has shown respect in one way or another. I can never understand what they are saying on the tannoy, that's why I always listen to the CWR commentary while I'm watching the game.

    I'm in 20 too, but I couldn't see Bigi's arm extended.

No, I didn't see it like that. Where were you sitting? Maybe you had a better view than me.

Hoping he is going to be the answer if Fleck's not here or is injured.

Yes. Phillips did well, especially as the game wore on. Once he had got the handle of him, he certainly got the better of their left midfielder.

Cole's looked a pen and both Clive Eakin called it and they were both over that side of the pitch. Clear push in the back on the 6 yard line. Murphy's looked a pen from where I was sitting, but I wasn't 100% sure. What was the hand ball by Bigi? The only one I remember was the one that was...

Exactly, Samo. Can't see the fuss myself. Nearly 20,000 people and a couple of thousand clapped and the rest stayed silent. Everyone I saw in Block 20 stayed silent, but I looked over and the Port Vale fans were clapping. Can't see the big deal. People were respecting and I'm sure many didn't...

Wasn't exactly over the top. He hit it like a missile. Through rather than over. ;) Such fine margins. Had Cole brought that down and ran in on goal everyone would have been commenting on what a fabulous through ball it was.

I'm in Keresley and can't see or hear anything. We are on the cusp though. Whereabouts exactly?

I was much happier applauding Jimmy Hill last week though. It seemed the right thing to do. It wasn't just polite applause, it was heartfelt, warm, rapturous applause befitting the great man and recognising what he did for us.

He did two through balls today to be honest and the second one was a beauty. The one through to Cole was a gem, but Cole couldn't quite control it. Not saying he had a good game, but he can put in a good through ball from time to time.

    17779 attendance means one thing

We should build one in London and then dangle a great big carrot on the M1
