To be fair, it's a valid point, if we had of fluked promotion last season, then according to TF, we'd be screwed.

Under normal circumstances yes. This whole debacle has caused nothing but factions. It's not a simple case of: "We need x amount of money" It's the parties involved all trying to outsmart eachother, but all parties are about as bright as a blackboard.

No, its not what I think, SISU said that boat had sailed. They don't want the Ricoh....

    To Stay or Go

But I thought SISU didn't want the Ricoh?

    Happy Anniversary everyone

I believe my dad went to every round, struggled to get a ticket for the final, and when he did, turned up on the day and was in the spurs end.....

But 6,000 per week in the countryside will draw in what revenues exactly? And the odd wedding?

No, they have the casino, hotel etc to draw revenue from.... Will Stade de SISU have a casino, hotel etc?

Where we are apparently going, we will be even worse off than when we were at HR IMO, with a much smaller stadium, miles away from Cov

So you believe that spending the proposed £30 million on a 15,000 seater stadium well away from Coventry, will put us on a stronger financial footing? What crowds do you require for this viability?

    Happy Anniversary everyone

At least you were alive when we won it :(

I'm going to ask you a very simple question, Grendel. Do you believe, that a new stadium, in our current financial state, and potential revenue, will be viable. (If SISU are to be believed, the new stadium will be further away from Coventry city centre than the Ricoh)

    To Stay or Go

Apparently we now get 50% of our matchday revenue. So.....

    To Stay or Go

Perhaps, but a business savvy owner could maximize the Ricoh and our current position, and improve it. I'm sorry, but another £30 million debt for a stadium outside Coventry will further reduce potential and revenue IMO.

    To Stay or Go

And you'd trust SISU to market all this? They can't even market the club adequately. (I do see your point btw, but I can't see businesses and brides etc rushing to spend money at a small football ground)

    To Stay or Go

All for the revenue of 6,000 punters. Plus rent and payments TO sisu, to pay for this stadium. But it's okay, because business people that want to stay at the Ricoh, with it's motorway links and facilities, will choose Stade de SISU in the wilderness to provide the much needed 365 days...
