Do You Like Your Job ?

As long as I have my Mac and phone I can work anywhere. Technically have to apply for work permits when I'm out of the EU though.

    The West End

That's where you're wrong. The FA are probably more clueless than our club has ever been and they use ticketmaster too. One of the annoying things is that you can't select your seat. Just have to pick a block and hope for the best. It's fine if there's just one group buying. What if someone else...

Do You Like Your Job ?

I suppose so. Passing on knowledge and experience to kids (my staff too FWIW) is something you can't put into words, especially when you see an individual develop and learn due to that knowledge. Don't get to spend much time with kids now though as it's mainly desk work :-( My sports...

Kick Off time Confirmed for Wembley

As I said above, never trust the FA's awful website. We booked straight away and chose the earliest out and one of the later ones back just in case!

    Half and half scarves

Yes and I hope nobody buys one. Coventry City Wembley 2/4/17, FLT/Checkatrade Trophy Final is fine. No need to put the other club on it.

Heard your fans want Bradley Lowery to lead you out at Wembley . . .

That's who I text earlier in the week about Jimmy's banner and this morning about this :-) When I asked I suggested talking to somewhere like Zoe's Place.

    The West End

Normally sit in 134 or 135 for games which is right behind the West goal. From memory the split is 39500-40500. The West end is where the stage is situated and there's temporary seating in it's place at other times. I can't remember for sure but I think the temporary seating makes it the...

I can ask. Think it's an excellent idea.

Driving down to London on the day.....

If Stanmore is full (likely) go round the corner to Canons Park. Both are £2 all day and are 1 & 2 on the Jubilee. Btw if you're going into London first get the Bakerloo back and get off at Wembley Central. Pubs are better there than Wembley Park.

Kick Off time Confirmed for Wembley

Welcome to the FA's brilliant IT department. I and most other travel club members for that matter never pay any attention to large chunks of their terrible website. The Spain game was listed as kicking off at midnight. Information for an international game that took place at Ashton Gate had a...

    Pubs for Wembley!

Globe opposite Baker St. Bakerloo to Wembley Central. Liquor Station on Wembley High St. That's normally a popular route.

Help needed tomorrow pre kick off

Good man. Was thinking of suggesting wearing Sky Blue but as it'll be cold and jackets that colour are rare I didn't really see the point!

Help needed tomorrow pre kick off

Would happily take donations towards the cost but as Jimmy made us Sky Blue in the first place I would rather the money was donated to either the Alziemers Society or the Jimmy Hill Legacy Fund.

Help needed tomorrow pre kick off

Firstly sorry to Nick as I know this has been covered in other threads but I thought it was best for it to have one of it's own. Tomorrow night we (the Trust) want it to be about the team and for fans to show their colours. We have purchased several thousand sheets of paper and need a couple of...

    Question re casino

I'm not 100% on this but I think it's a franchise type arrangement.

    Who is in charge?

Well Tim "doesn't run the club". He just gives up a few hours of his time each week to attend matches and make sure the books are in order.
