    Coventry Octoberfest

Seats 1,750 people. We are going tomorrow. It's a family day. As it's beer and German sausage and i'm a teetotal vegetarian, I can't see there will be much for me there though to be honest.

    Another bloody Insomnia

Hey!! My daughter was absolutely desperate to go to this, but I wouldn't let her as she has no-one to go with. And sorry, but don't think the 'spotty youths' is right either. We were round there on Friday and the majority of people we saw who were going to Insomnia were 20's - 30 year olds.

Are We Doomed To Failure ?

Yep, but at the same time, 'perilously close to the bare bones' after 4 league games ain't good either. http://www.coventrytelegraph.net/sport/football/football-news/coventry-city-squad-perilously-close-9947078 Coventry City squad 'perilously close to bare bones' admits Tony Mowbray 13:38...

Are We Doomed To Failure ?

Think that's what he's alluding too though, stu. Only 4 games in and already we have lost 2 of our first team squad for several months. Yep, brilliant we are 3rd in the league, but we were top. Suddenly we lose 2 players to long term injuries, we lose and don't play well. Just need to make...

Reporter and cameraman shot and killed on live TV!

Not going to even attempt to watch that footage. The story is enough for me. :(

    Sad To See Them Go

Ohh, I was gutted when we lost Stuart Pearce too. Would have loved to have seen him play for England as a City player.

    Jordan Willis

The worry now is though, with Willis also being cover for centre back as well as right back, if Reda or Ricketts get injured then we will just be down to Aaron Martin and Morris, who can play centre back. I have no idea if he is any good there though.

    Sad To See Them Go

Dion Dublin, Ian Wallace, Chris Kirkland.

    Jordan Willis

Yeah. I prefer Philips at right back. Not so keen on Martin though. Prefer Willis as centre back to Martin myself.

Pardon me boy....is that the councils empty choo choo

If that's the case, I say hooray that the trains aren't picking up fans.

    Jordan Willis

Not so sure at all. Willis can cover 2 positions, so we have also lost some cover for centre back.

Maddison out for a few months

I think Maddison has been a key component of our great little run, but though he is not irreplaceable, i am more concerned with the impact due to the thinness of our squad. Really don't think we can now afford to lose any others who are key players. And we certainly don't want to be reduced to...

Maddison out for a few months

Okay. No problem. I won't then go on to discuss the probability of us having a mare season of injuries and our being entrenched in the bottom 4 by Christmas. Should i keep that to myself?
