    Paidrag Amond

Prolific this season with 20 goals in 23 games , but previously at Morecombe he scored 19 in 82. He can play as a winger or up front mind.

Yep, where? I can't see anything mentioned anywhere.

    Wrong team choices today !

Walsall are the better team to my mind too, but as you say, Burton were very well drilled and organised. Not pretty to watch bit effective. Can they keep it up all season, I'm not so sure, but I can't see them tailing off too much, so if we were to make the play-offs I can see them being there...

Andy Rose is 'chomping at the bit'

I know, wishful thinking on Lorentzson on my part. Really want to see him in action in a sky blue shirt.

Andy Rose is 'chomping at the bit'

According to Tony Mowbray. Time to give him a chance with Fleck missing? Just think with Bigi you get Fleck lite, so maybe a change in approach will be a good thing. Could be of course that both Bigi and Rose get to play together, but I do think fresh blood and fresh impetus is what we need...

    The pitch

I remember that. It was truly, truly shocking. Surely wouldn't be allowed these days.

    Phillips

Just checked and his contract is up in the summer. Time to let him go perhaps? If he had a couple of years left of his contract I could understand sending him out on a season long loan, but if he's out of contract in just a few months time I don't see the point of offering him a contract to...

Disappointing, but still in our hands

Is that literally checking, or just checking checking?

    Phillips

Well I think that may need to happen to Phillips. A drop down to League Two or the Conference could do him a world of good. Let him learn his trade.

Oh my God how much do I hate Mrs. Brown's boys!! Grrr. :slap:

If this thread was a dog it would have been put down. Actually, thinking about it, this thread is a bit of a dog isn't it.

    Our Defence

Trouble is, Eddie the Eagle Edwards was an Eddie too. Besides, wouldn't TM have said the lad did well rather than call him a steady Eddie? Doesn't that sort of hint at him just being average at best?

As I said, you are both right. Apologies if that gives me splinters in the bum.

    Phillips

Anyone know where Lorentzson lives, cos I am happy to go round everyday and keep rubbing Deep Heat on his legs and thighs until he is better.

Disappointing, but still in our hands

As has been said, Southend were quite impressive here. Very well organised and disciplined. A draw would be okay, even though we need a win.

Disappointing, but still in our hands

They were indeed and that's why I think a draw will be okay.

Disappointing, but still in our hands

I think the next 6 games give us a good opportunity. Not saying we will win them all or have a run of good results, but it's a fair series of games where we can pick up points. We know in practice it could prove tough of course, but Southend, Scunthorpe, Port Vale, Bury, Shrewsbury, Fleetwood...
