    Positivity

As I have said, the only positive thing to come out of yesterday is the fact that many of those around us dropped point too. It's only a small crumb of comfort, but still, it just eases the pain a bit and the fact we got out of jail to a degree, I do see as a positive, however small that may be.

    TM warned us......

We have better players than last season though. Injuries have hurt us, but at the same time we just haven't gelled properly since the introduction of Joe Cole. If we can get the chemistry right then we should most certainly be able to finish top 6. Sent from my Hudl 2 using Tapatalk

The difference between success and failure?

Ramage in the side just doesn't fit in with the passing the ball around the back four, cos as you say he's not comfortable like Stokes and Ricketts and Martin. We need that CB that TM was looking to get and need him asap.

I would love to be so 1990's. I'm working my way up. At the moment I am still on butterfly shirts and flared trousers.

The difference between success and failure?

I think two new recruits could really re-ignite the side and give us fresh belief .

    Bigi...

Bigi looks assured? Really? Okay, everyone's entitled to their opinion of course, but there have been a number of incidents where he has even struggled to get the ball under control before he even begins to think about a pass. He seems rushed a lot of the time and not calm at all. I would...

I don't think I have ever seen John Fleck make 15 misplaced passes in a game. Sounds widely exaggerated I would say.

    TM warned us......

There were a number of errors. None as bad as that first goal though, where Phillips gave the ball on a plate to the Burton player in our own six yard box.

15 misplaced passes in suicidal areas in one game? You sure about that? Fleck looks assured on the ball and is more confident. Bigi is edgy and seems to find it harder to bring the ball under control at times and his passes to at times seem a lot more hurried than Fleck's.

And as I have quite clearly said, I don't think he is a bad player. He very much worries me though in that Fleck role.

    Bigi...

I don't see anyone blaming Bigi for yesterday. People are just giveing their general impression upon him since his return and also, as he is playing in the same role as Fleck, there is an obvious camparison there to be made.

The difference between success and failure?

But that's the difference. We have played it from the back all season long. How the opposition approach that has changed how successful that is for us. We haven't changed tactics, it's just that when teams press us high up the field we then struggle to make that playing from the back work.

    Online/Radio coverage

Well you have to ask yourselves, is the phone in for us or for all local teams and sports? In my experience every single call in living memory has been about Coventry City, so yep, any talk about Wasps or whoever should be kept to a very minimum.

The difference between success and failure?

We play the ball around the back whether a team presses us or not. We have played the same way all season. When a team presses us high up though, we find it harder to progress the ball out of our own half and higher up the pitch.

    TM warned us......

Yes, but it wasn't a mistake that can be compared to the Phillips one, or the Fleck one, or the RCC one against Sheff Utd. Those were glaring errors. Don't think you can label Ricketts' mistake yesterday as a glaring error. Yep, he probably took too long on the ball, but that ball from that...

The difference between success and failure?

Hmm, disagree with that first sentence to be honest. A lot DOES have something to do with the opposition. When teams let us play we can destroy them and I remember against Gillingham here they gave Fleck all the time in the world. When teams press us at high tempo we cannot play our natural...

    Bigi...

He just doesn't take care of the ball very well. He really worries me in that defensive midfield role. Further up the pitch losing possession can prove to be less costly, but his distribution in our own half when it goes wayward is a big concern. If he is going to play, I would like to see...

    TM warned us......

Of course there will be, as there is with any team. We just have to try and keep them to a minimum. Ricketts' clearance was charged down yesterday. These things happen. What we can concentrate on though is the ridiculous mistake goals such as the Phillips one against Burton, or the one with...

The gap widens or closes today...

So glad that one has been put to bed! Missing yesterday and and we suffer our worst defeat of the season. We desperately lacked firepower yesterday.
