As it doesn’t seem to have been mentioned on here, the club are honouring orders placed with Elite at the clubs expense. So the club have done the right thing despite the moaners.

    Wasps signs have actually gone!!

Apologies for doubting this in an earlier post. I have checked with my trusty steel ruler and it does look as if it is EPIC that was owed £950k.

I’ve already said, it’s been tried elsewhere and is against the rules.

That would be selling off assets that King has agreed a price for. So I would doubt it.

There is nothing against EPIc, just a blank space (edit the numbers don’t seem to line up very well against the list of creditors so hard to tell). The £905k seems to be owed to Ernst and Young. There is £280k owed to Wigley Construction who built EPIC/ WNTG.

I read that somebody had done that with another club, can’t remember who, and it is against EFL rules with the ramifications till rumbling on.

    Wasps signs have actually gone!!

Because the RFU have told them they have to stay local. The CBS will still be expensive for them even if they manage an immediate promotion with a team built from scratch. They will have to be careful what they spend on wages as they can have no idea what attendances will be like after they...

    Wasps signs have actually gone!!

Shugs in Drunken Wasps reckons there’s a core following of 4-5,000 in the Coventry area. Bouncing straight back won’t necessarily be easy, we know that from experience. They have no players or coaches so will be starting from scratch.

    Wasps signs have actually gone!!

I don’t think it was FG who took the signs down, the firm who did so were on the list of creditors and may simply have repossessed them. Having said that, there is apparently a debranding manager. Ashley won’t be bothered about the RFU, Wasps will be if staying at the arena is essential to them...

    Wasps signs have actually gone!!

They may be being forced to be stay at the CBS arena as RFU rules require a phoenix club to do so. Utter madness when ownership of the facility has been lost and it was buying the facility that lead to Wasps downfall.

The pitch element of the fee would have to be at least the same as for the football, as would dressing rooms. So one stand open would / should not equal a quarter of the cost.
